La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Thousand Oaks-Newbury Park

Friendly & helpful staff, room was very comfortable, easy parking, & even though the exterior/interior is not the newest it is leaps & bounds better than some of the other relatively similar priced hotels/motels in the area. Highly recommend, especially to light sleepers.

This hotel is fine. It did the job. The room was clean and everything was in decent working order. The staff was friendly and efficient. I don't know that it was worth the price. The only downside is that a lot of kid sports teams were staying there the same night as us, so the breakfast area was a hot mess with very little food left when I came down (admittedly only 15 minutes before service closed).

If there is an issue that is brought to management they don't seem to care and there is zero follow up

The property is conveniently located next to the freeway exit and there seems to be plenty of parking spot. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There's hot tea available at the lobby. However, the room itself wasn't up to the standards. In the room I stayed in there was a blood stain/red stain on the carpet, same stains on the couch/chair, the pillows are terribly uncomfortable, and water pressure was extremely low where it is impossible to wash off the shampoo and soap.

My stay was fine. Room was clean and comfortable enough. At breakfast , they need more chairs. Maybe tables too. It was a bit hard to find a place to sit. Selections were a bit on the thin side. More fruit would be a nice addition. The second floor outside patio area was a nice touch.

This property needs updated badly. I felt like a 90s Motel 6. The bed was uncomfortable and was broken and sagging in the middle. The mattress felt thin and ancient. The chair that is usually in the room was missing. There was no remote for the TV. Housekeeping didn’t refresh or visit our room at all in the 5 days we were there. The staff was disengaged and almost rude (except for the girl that initially checked us in). The only real selling point for this property was the pool and hot tub that were wonderful. It’s cheaper than other properties in the area but it’s not the same quality that I’ve come to expect from La Quinta in recent trips.

All the time very noisy, air-conditioning unit did not work, shower head, very low pressure, barely worked, toilet, barely flushed, bed very very cheap.
