Cairn Hotel Newcastle Jesmond

Very good in the UK, there are still free water in glass bottles and free parking. It’s really touching. wifi is also free. The only drawback is that there is no elevator. Baggage is not very convenient.

The only good thing about this hotel is. Only by the river, big floor-to-ceiling windows, good scenery👍 But there are too many unacceptable shortcomings...will not live again Hygiene is extremely poor, with blood on sheets and pillowcases, sticky drink marks on chairs, dead bugs, insensitive toilets in the toilets, and lots of stains on the bathtub. The room facilities are extremely old and cracked everywhere, as shown in the picture. The worst thing is that the charging port cannot be found. There is only one position in the whole room that can be seen by the naked eye, which is very inconvenient. The others are behind the electrical cabinet and hidden behind the bedside table. The price is inflated and does not match the facility. Antique facilities, not recommended.

The hotel is located on the main road, there are a lot of cars in and out, the hotel has its own parking lot, the location is not too much, it is convenient. There is a kettle. The dinner at the hotel was quite cheap and the taste was good. The drinks and chocolates in the fridge were free. If you travel by car, it is OK.

Perfect location to commute anywhere for a great night out! Comfy beds, staff were so friendly! Special credit to the guy who was working Wednesday 1st June 2022 he was amazing totally went out of his way to help us! Everything was great apart from the loo.. in our room there was not much room when sitting on the toilet, very cramped especially for a bigger boootay. However I can’t say anything else I’d change. Thanks for a great experience! 😊

I was a bit underwhelmed by our visit here. We paid for a superior room for two nights. The bedroom area in room 703 was pleasant, nice and clean, however, the hotel has no air con and the bathroom really let the room down. The sink was very badly chipped and cracked and the shower water pressure was so low that I couldn’t wash my hair. Fortunately Hannah on reception switched our room. The water pressure was much better in the second room, room 743. The lack of air con is a real problem within the hotel. The rooms get very warm, very quickly and due to the design of the hotel with the windows open you can hear every conversation that takes place outside, day and night. The windows need to be open, even on a cooler day because the rooms are so warm. Breakfast was fab as was the bar area. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful.

Really love this hotel, the service is really nice. Only hoped that they could keep the luggages more than the day before or after check in as I always book one day between the other booking.
