The two queen bed room we booked was spacious. The women and men that cooked, prepared, and served the daily buffet breakfast, as well as cleaned the adjacent dining area, did a very fine job and should be highly commended - they are truly the shining stars of this hotel and deserve alot of praise. The sofabed in our room was very old and sunken in; the pillows were incredibly old and need to be replaced. The mattresses were likewise old and too soft, need to be replaced. Floor molding and flooring in the kitchen was missing in areas. Armchair and kitchen table/chairs chipped and very stained. The indoor pool was nice, but sheetrock ceiling is coming off in parts due to high humidity in the pool room; the hotel management and owner apparently think its a good, safe idea to have pieces of sheetrock falling from the ceiling overhead onto the heads and necks of swimmers below. The main elevator to the hotel was inoperable during our stay and I imagine that it has been for many days or weeks, and the management didn't seem to care at all that guests had to pull their suitcases down multiple long corridors to get to the one single working elevator in a five story building. We didn't observe any person working to repair the elevator during our 3 day stay. The deadbolt lock on our room door did not work which was a serious concern with two toddlers and when I complained no one from management responded. Lastly, the exterior side entrance doors were unlocked at all times.
