Ibis Styles Hotels in Nha Trang

General: This is our second time staying at this hotel. It is next to Vincom Plaza, Starbucks, and Highland Coffee Shop. There are many nearby foot massages and local restaurants. The front desk staff is charming and helpful. However, the room we stayed in had a problem with the AC. We found that sometimes it was hot and sometimes cold, as the hotel sets the central AC automatically based on guests' feedback. After two days of talking with the hotel, our AC problem was solved. The room is generally good; the only problem is the bathroom drainage problems. When taking a bath, water will flow from around the bathtub all over the floor. As for the room service, we have ordered room meal service, and it tastes good. However, for the place, no one took care of it, so it was postponed until the next day outside our door (according to their requirements), and eating leftovers may attract bugs. As for the hotel, the swimming pool is tiny, and during our stay, the Nha trang wind was quite strong, so we only stayed short at the hotel swimming pool. The morning breakfast of the hotel every day seems the same, and only a few meals are eaten daily. The hotel has a free beach area, and it is good. The first-floor restaurant provides good meals at reasonable prices. Pros: Location, staffs are friendly Cons: Non-variety of breakfast options.

Tried to claim and fine us saying that one of my colleague smoked in the room but actually he is just a regular smoker who smoked outside and return to his room with smell attached to his clothing. The policy should state non smoker room if they want to be specific.

Service was first class. The staff were proud to be working for the Sheraton and the brand itself, which is what you want to hear from them. I had the pleasure of dealing with a young gentleman named Ethan and he was pleasant in manner, anticipated my needs before I even communicated them, ensured I was happy and provides solutions to any queries I had. Upon checking in, I had previously checked out earlier in the day (flight delayed until the next day) and mentioned I had left my swimming shorts in my previous room. The check-in staff said that they would contact housekeeping and see if they could be found. I then checked in and went to my room to discover that it was a connected room with access to the next room via a door. Unfortunately, this lead to noise travelling from my neighbours room. I went to reception and was met by Ethan who then gave me another room, it was an upgrade to a nicer room on a higher floor. Not only that, I asked about my swim shorts and was told that they had been found, they would be laundered and dried before being returned to me. I said that it was fine, I could just take them and they would dry on the balcony, to which Ethan enthusiastically replied, ”Sir, this is the Sheraton!”. It is so nice to hear such words from staff and to know that you're in the hands of people that care and take pride in their work.

We had reservations for a suite 1 bedroom ocean view room, and the pictures on the Capital One travel website showed this room with a round bed and ocean view. However upon arrival, the manager (“Hoc”? On 08Nov22 afternoon) tried to put us in an inferior room facing a building with 2 beds and a partial ocean view. When went back down and refused this room He said his system showed this is what I reserved and paid for. I showed him my prepaid reservation clearly showing otherwise. It also didn’t make sense, as his room was only $28 for 2 nights and we paid $68 per my reservation receipt for the suite 1bd ocean view. While there clearly was some miscommunication in the reservation systems, Instead of acknowledging and honoring my reservation documents, and dealing with the problem between vendors in the background, he said mine were a “lie”! Yes actual quotes! Even though my payment clearly indicated there was no way I reserved the inferior room he put me in. Over the course of the next half hour, we went back and forth, him upping the room type and me showing him pictures of the room I reserved and requesting that room. He even said that I could NOT have that room because they “sold out 10 minutes ago” and maybe I could “try again tomorrow to switch rooms if available”. I then showed him on my phone that Booking.com shows 3 of these rooms still available - and he said it was “lie”, again! So I showed him on Agoda.com the same fact; he just shook his head. I then called Capital One Travel and they talked to him via my phone as they couldn’t reach his office internationally. FINALLY after all this I got the room I paid for. But I was not happy about this check-in experience. It tainted our whole stay here. Perhaps it was just a one off with this manager, but his behavior demonstrated a serious lack of customer service, common courtesy, logic given the rate we paid, and integrity. We question how the hotel could tolerate such behavior and concluded he must have the support of his management to have been so aggressive and bold in his actions. We will NEVER stay here again as a result.

We stayed two nights in the ocean view room with breakfast and dinner. The services, facilities and set up of the room are excellent and of 5 stars standard. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only two minor things that puzzled me.: Coffee served in breakfast with no teaspoon included. There is no pen in the room for writing.

Our time at the Novotel in Nha Trang was great. The staff were helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the seafood buffet, and the food and drinks were very well made. We had massages and facials at the spa, which were very professional and relaxing. While you need to cross the street to get to the beach, it is not very inconvenient and there are lounge chairs available for hotel guests. We also enjoyed that food and drinks were available at the hotel pool. The room was clean and comfortable.

Overall, 10/10 The island, the accommodation, staff, everything is really good. We loved the pool & the shore, but I recommend everyone to buy breakfast & dinner, so you won’t have to think about it. They have room service, food is good but not as good as the buffet. Also: book the room with VinWonders tickets, it’s a great deal ＜3

The hotel has a very good view and position in Nha Trang beach. I and my family enjoyed our wonderful weekend here. Services is excellent. I will came back here in the future. Hotel serve poolside BBQ with a beachfront view and the open atmophere. You can see the whole beautiful drone show event in Nha Trang Festival 2023. What a nice place!

It's a very nice resort but very isolated from the rest of the world. If you travel alone it's a boring place. I definitely don't recommend it for traveling alone. Everything in the resort closes early and the options for night life are nonexistent. Definitely not a place for people who like to go out and party at night. Ways of transportation inside the island made it feel a bit like prison. There was no chance to walk and travel the island on your own.
