Hotels near Emporio Armani in Nice

Nice hotel, rooms are small but adequate (recommend it for couples or solo), breakfast is basic but good enough. The old town, marina and promenade are all easily accessible (couple minutes of walk), and the area around the hotel is filled with restaurants, bars etc. This might be the only downside, it was very noisy in the party ‘rush hour’ but if you are looking for night life, this hotel is right by the center of it. Overall a very positive experience.

Hotel -Layout was not welcoming/ inviting as the front doors leads to a hallway & the reception desk is up 3steps before you are greeted by someone. This makes carrying luggage difficult. - Storing luggage until the room was ready was fine. - Lift was small and can fit max 3people without luggage and was sometimes slow to come. - Would not rate as a 4 star hotel. Location - Approx. 15min walk from the promenade, which meant we were away from the noise. - 2mins away from the train station, which is ideal is travelling by train. - Area was OK, but not the best. Drinks - The complimentary drinks were tap water, lemonade (made from tap water), tea and coffee. If you dont drink tap water, there is no free alternative provided, with the reason given they are reducing use of plastic (bottled, glass water is avaiable to purchase). Room -We stayed in a classic room (208) which was compact. -They are definitely not soundproof & is dependent on the guests, as we could hear their conversations and when they were using the shower. -All the hotel doors make a loud bang when closed. -The room layout and space could have been utilised more effectively. E.g. 1/3 of the wardrobes were dumpy drawers. We had a chair but it was placed infront of the only long mirror in the room. -The charging ports were only accessible from one side of the bed, which can be challenging & annoying at times. - The room view was of the street and of the opposite building, which was not the nicest. Breakfast -We would advise you to think twice before booking breakfast. -Breakfast selection is very small - neatly presented in the corner of the room. -Minimal vegetarian and vegan optipns - which is not worth the money they ask - with the reason given France is not accomodating to vegetarian food. One gluten free option. -Fresh orange juice and breads were delicious. -There were 2 choices of fresh fruit (apple & kiwi) neither of which looked appealing. -No salad options. -Staff did not clear the tables as you were eating. -If all the guests were to be in the room at the same time, it would be very cramped, noisy and cause queuing. Staff -Half were friendly, polite and welcoming. The other half were not and would not acknowledge you upon entering or leaving the hotel. -When we were checking out, we were not offered support with our luggage down the steps, instead a hotel guest offered to help us! Also, the staff member did not finish with out checking out and had already started serving the guest behind us. -When making enqueries, staff were helpful and tried their best, with clear instructions. -An item was requested, which was not available. We were reassured this item would be sent to our room the next morning, but alas this did not happen.

My wife and I stayed for one week at Hotel Byakko. It is conveniently placed for public transport and in good walking distance of the shops and Old Town. The staff are all very friendly, polite and efficient and the amenities and breakfast good. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the shower good too. If anything, the hotel undersells itself, by not mentioning some of its amenities, including free afternoon tea, a safe in the room, shower soap etc in the bathroom and so on. We would highly recommend Hotel Byakko and would certainly stay there again if we are back in NIce. Thank you to all the hotel's staff for an enjoyable stay.

The value of sustainability is exactly right there. There is everything you need but not too much of it.  Except from the promising perspective, there is enough of it. The view from the roof terrace is amazingly beautiful I saw the sunrise there. The free parking were our rescue for our broken car that needed a new battery. After a very good breakfast for nine euros we then collected new power and repaired the car. I would like to go back there at any time. Specially recommending is the first floor that is free of barrier. The hotel operators are very friendly and professional. Cleanliness, carefulness, sustainability and professionalism: These are the four stars I would give to this hotel. 

We returned to the hotel after a long break due to covid. The hotel was excellent in changing our reservations due to the continued covid and travel restrictions. We paid a bit extra for a deluxe room with sea view and although the hotel is not cheap, it is right on the seafront and only a few minutes walk to the bars, restaurants, city centre etc. There is even a bus stop close to the hotel if you want to travel from the airport without getting a taxi. A warm welcome from the staff, a clean and modern room with a view of the sea. The breakfast buffet is very good. We did not take dinner but walked to a pedestrian area with lots of eateries. The hotel restaurant looks good and was usually busy, but we did not see much on the menu to attract us. Perhaps next time. Overall excellent but we do have a couple of tiny tiny comments. ASometinmes the tea/coffees were not topped up in the room. There are not enough hangers in the wardrobe and no hooks on the backs of any doors so you could hang coats, robes etc. None of these items spoit the holiday break and we will go again.

Stayed for a few nights with family and cannot rate this hostel highly enough! Rooms are spacious and have a real hotel ‘feel’, including en-suite bathrooms. And these guys have thought of everything with plenty of sockets in the room, laundry service, gym, computers and chill-out zones. Security is as good as any hotel I’ve ever stayed in and the whole place has a really easy, welcoming vibe. Spacious and stylish place that’s really great value for money. Really accommodating for a young family and even when busy felt really calm and quiet. Close to beach and all else Nice has to offer - will definitely stay again!

The main body of the hotel is not very large, but the garden and swimming pool contained in the hotel are not small. The whole hotel is very exquisite. The lobby, room, garden and other parts are carefully arranged. Gives a noble and elegant taste. Used the second main meal and were very satisfied! Because the area around the hotel is a wealthy villa area, you must make a reservation before dining. The season we go to is not high season, but the restaurant is basically full. Hotel service is consistently high throughout the seasons. Overall very satisfied!

Don’t stay at this hotel if you want to get some rest. There is a restaurant downstairs so people will be coming after midnight and talking loudly. You will be hearing cars throughout the night. In terms of cleanliness it was ok. The room was a bit small. Not the worst place to stay for the price. Just a bit loud.

We have had an amazing stay. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. I was contacted a couple of days prior to our stay, because there was an issue with the payment. This mistake was completely my fault, but the hotel was very helpful and nice and we solved it in the end. When we arrived we were so fortunate to have been upgraded, despite the hassle I brought to the hotel, with the payment error. The room was amazing, and clean, and when we checked out we received a little parting gift of lavender in a pouch. The hotel is very centrally located, and I would definitely visit again! I stayed here for 1 night as my plane arrived in the early hours and I preferred not to take a taxi into Nice town by myself at that time. The hotel offers a very convenient shuttle bus transfer: they will collect you at Gate A1 at Terminal 2. I understand that if you are arriving at Terminal 1, they will collect you at bus stop number 6. Overall I was pleased with my stay. The room was small but this was not an issue for me. It was well equipped and this included a small fridge and decent AC. The free bottle of water in the fridge was a nice touch. There are also tea and coffee facilities in the room. Great black out curtains and from my room, I had a great view of the runway. I found the floor my room was on to be quiet. My only complaint about the room was that I found the bed quite hard so I didn’t sleep that well. The breakfast was delicious and well worth it and the staff in the breakfast room were very friendly and attentive. You are absolutely spoilt for choice in terms of breakfast options. As with other reviews of this hotel, I felt that the reception staff could have been more pleasant. When I was checking out, I asked for directions to the nearest tram stop going into Nice and the guy on reception just mumbled something. I tried to follow the unclear directions he had given me and ended up walking to the Parc Phoenix stop. I discovered later that there was a stop closer to the hotel. Although this was not a huge inconvenience for me personally, having to walk further than necessary with my case in the July heat was a bit annoying.
