館内や室内の雰囲気はとても良いです。見晴らしがとても素晴らしくて癒されました。ただ、室内の電気のコンセントの配置箇所が少ないです。家族連れだと携帯の充電にコンセントの取り合いでした。
それから、夕食のセットメニュー(テーブルに並んである物)はとても残念でした。子どもメニューがなかったのも残念でした(あれは子どもには厳しいと思います)。
朝食は夕食に比べ、とても美味しかったです。パンも美味しかったです。
お風呂についてはいたって普通な感じです。清潔にはされています。
平日だったせいか、若い人はあまりいませんでした。

「岳温泉」にはいくつかの宿があるけど、立地条件はここが一番だと思います。「鏡ヶ池」が一望でき、朝起きたら、天気が良ければ「鏡ヶ池公園」内を歩いてみることをお勧めします。廃業しそうな老舗旅館を買って営業する「伊東園ホテルグループ」のホテルになので宿泊料金は安いです。以前の施設をそのまま使っているんで、アメニティは低いです。今回利用した部屋には使えるコンセントもなく、電話はモーニングコールの機能もありませんでした。「WiFi」は部屋には案内もなく、ロビーに行ったら接続案内がありましたが「SSID」「PW」を自分で入力しないと利用できないようです。お風呂は「源泉かけ流し」です。溢れた湯がパイプとかで循環していないことは画像をみてもらえば分かると思います、循環する湯は塩素等の消毒薬を入れないといけないので、匂いで分かります。かけ流しの湯は消毒薬を入れないから、匂いで分かります。循環させて消毒薬を入れた温泉は温泉の効果がかなり落ちます。私はできるなら「源泉かけ流し」の風呂に入浴したほうがいいと思っています。他の伊東園ホテルより￥１０００高いのは夕食のグレードが高いことが理由です。朝食は他の伊東園ホテルと同じかな。

元は高級旅館であったのだろうなあと思わせる建物。鏡が池のほとりに立ち、部屋からの眺めも良い。 残念ながら食事がまずい。伊東園グループだから、それほど期待はしていなかったけれど、冷たい天ぷらとか箱酒はねぇ。

郡山ゴルフの宿として宿泊しました。安さ優先で宿をとりましたが、あたりでした。2食付いて1万円を切る値段でこの部屋と温泉。よかったです。パックの日本酒でしたがアルコールも飲み放題。以前伊藤園グループの宿に泊まりいやな目にあっていたので泊るだけと割り切っていましたが予想を上回ってよかったです。窓から眺めも安達太良山や鏡池など素晴らしかったです。ただ従業員の対応はマニュアル通りで、もう少し考えてほしいなと思いました。

突然に岳温泉に行きたくなりネットで調べていたら10000円/1名を切るこのホテルに 魅力を感じ予約をしました。この時期、ほとんどが満室でありながら18日の「禁煙、池側、12畳」の一部屋だけが残っており即予約。この時点では泉質のpH2.5酸性の温泉に入りたくて予約したので部屋、食事、景色などはどうでも良かったのです。ところが、12畳の部屋は確かに畳は12枚程度ですが更に広い板の間があって合計18畳程度の広くきれいなものでした。また、東南角部屋でしたので東南二面に窓がある部屋で障子を開けるとそこには素晴らしい景色が広がっていたのでした。到着日の夕方は強めの雨でしたので温泉入浴に時間を費やしましたが、翌朝外を見てみるとなんということでしょう。遠くには安達太良山が堂々とそびえ、中ほどには「桜坂」と言う名前の付いた満開の桜のトンネルが、そして下には鏡が池が広がり周りにはやはり満開の桜が広がっているのです。温泉は酸性のpH2.5だそうですが玉川温泉のように肌を刺激することは無く湯の華が舞った硫黄泉のようでした。露天風呂も内風呂もあまり広いものではありませんが満室でもお風呂場には最大12名しか居ませんでしたので狭いとは感じませんでした。このお湯がまた良く暖まり何回か出たり入ったりを繰り返すと体から汗が流れ出てとても気持ちのいい温泉でした。食事については山奥の15000円程度の宿よりはマシだとだけ言っておきましょう。とにかく、この料金でこの部屋、この温泉、この景色は、また行きたいと思わせるだけの価値のある温泉宿でした。ちなみに、帰りには次回1000円/1名割引クーポンを人数分頂きました。温泉は色々幾度も行ってますが、飲み放題などがあってこの宿の質等々でこの料金はあり得ません。それでも、夕食の料理が物足りないと思う方はあらかじめオプションを申し込むといいでしょう。
