Yumotoya

The food was excellent. The bath and sauna were at the perfect temperature. The reception in the lobby was also very pleasant. I'd like to go again.

The front desk staff were very polite and quick to respond. The room was clean and very comfortable. The food was delicious, using local ingredients.

Yumotoya Ryokan, honestly, I didn't expect this level of quality for this price, but it was really great! It's a bit far from the actual accessibility, but it's definitely a place with great service and a perfect path within the ryokan. The breakfast is also really delicious! It's a breakfast that suits Korean tastes well.. The large bath facilities were also very good.

During the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival, the front desk service is extended, and there are staff available at night. The evening onsen hours are also extended by an hour. The breakfast is plentiful, but a bit pricey.

The building is old, but it has been renovated little by little and there are many nice parts. The staff were all cheerful and responded quickly. Being surrounded by nature was refreshing.

At Iwamuro Onsen, there's not much nearby, so it's a great place to relax, soak in the hot springs, and enjoy a delicious meal! There's an energy attraction nearby, the location where Totoro was filmed. You can climb from the shrine to the summit of Mt. Matsudake ⛰️ and even connect to Mt. Tahō and Mt. Yahiko! The Yahiko Three Peaks are a challenge for outdoor enthusiasts! The hotel dinner is very plentiful! The hotel offers a shuttle service, so remember to make a reservation. Kane no Yu has a history of over 300 years. The men's and women's baths change, so be sure to soak in the hot springs early the next morning! By the way 👍 the breakfast buffet is fantastic, especially the shabu-shabu, it's super delicious 😋

I couldn't get enough sleep because I could hear the Korean couple in the next room until 2am. It was an old building so you could hear everything. The hot spring was very good.
