Fujiya

This hotel is located in the center of Iwamuro Onsen, about a 40-minute drive from Niigata Airport. I traveled by rental car, which made it convenient, but if you're relying on public transport, you'll need to double-check the schedules. There are no shops or convenience stores nearby, so you'll need to stock up on everything before checking in. The biggest advantage of this hotel is the quality of its hot springs. There are two onsen baths. The one on the first floor has a faint sulfur smell and a beautiful greenish-blue color. You can really feel the difference in your skin after a soak – the hot spring water quality is excellent! There's also a sauna, but the downside is the lack of a cold plunge pool. While there's cold water available to pour over yourself, there's no actual pool to fully immerse in. Still, the hot spring water quality is truly outstanding.

The hotel service was excellent, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Dinner was a set menu, and breakfast was a buffet. The food was decent. The hot spring could accommodate about ten people. It's a good leisure option for travelers.

The exterior is quite worn out. However, when you arrive, check-in is quick and efficient. The lounge has dorayaki, coffee jelly, ice cream and other items that children will enjoy. The room is quite average. They ask that you boil water before drinking. They bring it to you if you ask, but I wish they kept it on hand. Also, the futon is thin. These are the two negative points. The food is not extravagant, but the variety is sufficient and satisfying. The hall is rather bland for a dining area, though. What is particularly noteworthy here are the staff. You can feel that everyone is trying their best to provide the best hospitality possible. They are working very hard.

房間夠大，晚餐豐富，早餐有啲敷衍，呢個價錢可以住得更好嘅溫泉旅館。
