I used it on a trip.
Although it is far from Niigata Station, it is not impossible to walk there.
There are shopping malls nearby, so I had no problems getting food.
The room felt a little old, but it was clean.
My room was on the opposite side of the river, so the view was of the parking lot.
The breakfast buffet was also delicious.

The hotel is on the edge of the Shinano River. The scenery is very good and the rooms are large. There is a bus to Niigata Aquarium not far from the door. It is not too far to walk to the shopping street and Saito Bettei, and it is just across from Isetan. A river. I was able to store my luggage before check-in.
The room was beautiful with a view of the neon lights of the river.
The hotel itself was old, there were few electrical outlets, and the toilet seat was cold rather than heated.
The wine cooler won't hold ice unless it's a little bigger.
