Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa

Our room is in a traditional Japanese style. While you’re having dinner, the staff will come in and prepare the futon for you. Amenities like shampoo and conditioner are not provided in the room, so you’ll need to pick them up from the lobby on the ground floor. Yukata are available to borrow, and there’s also drinking water, both hot and cold, as well as a microwave provided on the ground floor. The hotel also offers a private onsen, which can be booked for 45 minutes per session. It costs around 2,800 yen per session, not per person. What I really liked was the breakfast and dinner buffet. The food suited my taste and there was a good variety to choose from. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the train station, but there is a shuttle service from the hotel to the station in the morning, running about four times a day.

Hotel has a nice onsen (indoor and outdoor). Staff are helpful. When requsted for a fruit knife, i am impressed that staff handed to me in a second. Room was spacious and all of us slept so well. Room was totally quiet . No sound from cars, electrical stuff . We drove a rental car there and theres free parking opp the hotel .

The hotel's breakfast and dinner were both excellent, featuring dishes like Tempura ,sashimi, fruit, cakes, and meats traditional Japanese dishes .It would be better if they offered a pick-up service from the train station, which is about a 10-12minute walk away. It’s hard when you pull the luggage and it’s cobblestone road.

Room is spacious. Onsen outdoor one of the side is nicer. Buffet is not bad. Relaxing!

This hotel is recommended. Great buffets with variety of options (japanese, western, tempura, wagyu). Fruit taste was not as good as we expected though and you might not feel excited much about the food after a couple days as they’re pretty much the same. Wonderful public baht with generous amenities provided. Pajama is not needed if you enjoy wearing yukata and sock when sleeping at night as we did. Staff were also friendly. We had a great time overall.

It’s a comfortable hotel with friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and a relaxing onsen.

Breakfast was better than dinner, but both were good. The onsen was good and clean, but I wish they provided towels at the onsen area and not having to bring our own. There were no face towels in the room. The room was old. The floor creaks. But the room was very clean. I did not smell smoke anywhere in the hotel, but it was a bit humid. The staff spoke English well. BONUS: In the game room, there is the old Pole Position car racing game and it works perfectly. Memories of my childhood. I loved this game. The hotel price was excellent for the value.it is beside a beautiful long pedestrian bridge.
