We stayed one night before driving west to Tingxixiang and north on beautiful mountain roads towards Moon Bay (the Yueliangwan Scenic Area). Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. A quiet location across the road from a lake (dammed river) and bamboo forest. A clean room and good healthy food. Wonderful hosts who chatted with us over dinner and breakfast while we sat outdoors in crisp mountain air. We felt very welcome, even by the local police who were very happy to welcome a foreigner.

The location of this hotel is at the start of the Sichuan-Tibet Line (川藏选) near the city of Ningguo in southern Anhui. We stayed one night before driving west to Tingxixiang and north on beautiful mountain roads towards Moon Bay (the Yueliangwan Scenic Area). Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. A quiet location across the road from a lake (dammed river) and bamboo forest. A clean room and good healthy food. Wonderful hosts who chatted with us over dinner and breakfast while we sat outdoors in crisp mountain air. We felt very welcome, even by the local police who were very happy to welcome a foreigner.
