I picked this location as I arrived from palermo via airport and needed to leave naples via train - its literally a 5 min walk away from the fast trains super accessible ! The staff was also very helpful whenever needed. I highly recommend the breakfast it was 6 euros more and so worth it! An italian breakfast is so amazing and they serve it well I looked forward to it every morning. Also a block away from a whole line if restaurants for dinner or lunch. Perfect location

This hotel was formerly a convent and is adjacent to a beautiful church, and the setting is serene and beautiful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so accommodating and helpful that you could not ask for more. The room my wife and I stayed in was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the coffee was delicious. The staff were warm and friendly and the service given was among the best we’ve ever experienced. There is complimentary wi-fi ( a rarity these days with most establishments charging a small premium) . We had a lovely stay which was predominantly down to the staff and in particular a lovely lady named Theresa who always went out of her way and was so accommodating. Although the hotel is listed as a “Three Star” it feels like a “5 Star”. Stunning , and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We paid over €500 and we have never been so repentant as this time. The only point for this hotel is the location that is very close to the central station. For the rest it's all to review.. The room is dirty and has obvious problems of moisture on the walls. The covers do not see water and detergents for how long I haven't known. The test was made one morning when one of the inspectors came in the room and cried ”Ah! It's clean!”. The same bedroom for four days in a row and even swept before our arrival! The towels smell a strong humidity, They probably never saw the sunlight! Matraci (2 because the double bed is made of 2 singles) one different from the other and very uncomfortable to say little.. The coats were grey and they also emanated a nausea smell.. So do not listen to the fact that some sites say it is ”not to lose” because I assure you that you will not lose anything!

We stayed at the hotel for four days in early July. This resulted in us leaving with the best impressions. There was a lot of politeness and friendliness among the staff. The room was exactly what we wanted and very clean. Our maids cleaned and tidied it every day. Clean towels were provided and bathroom accessories were promptly replaced. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Location was perfect!!! We highly recommend it. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we visit Naples again. Sophia and Sotiria from Greece

I have no habit of giving trip advisor advice, but I will make an exception for this establishment. Hotel located outside the turbulent Naples, but not too far, so perfect for those with a car and especially if you want to visit Pouzzoles, Baies, Cumes, Capua ... Airport at 40 min. The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre and is located in the heart of the city centre. Fresh and very well valued products. Paste, fish, crustaceans and matured meat. The wine lovers are not forgotten, the wine map is simply an invitation to discover the various varieties and names of Italy and at all prices. I use this to make my daughter spend a little bit of herself with two staff of breakfast and room service.

We stayed for 3 nights, used as a base to explore Naples and visit Vesuvius and Pompeii. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean and very nice, modern decor. Huge, comfortable bed and we had a lovely view of Vesuvius and side sea view (Deluxe room, 3rd floor). Staff are excellent, very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very nice buffet style and you can request omelettes to order. We ate in the restaurant on our first night, in our opinion this was a little over priced for the quality of the food. There are plenty of very good quality restaurants within a short walking distance (10 - 15 minutes) or the hotel shuttle will take you and pick you up free of charge. We used the hotel shuttle for airport transfers and would recommend this, at £50 Euros each way this is around the same cost as arranging yourself but more convenient. The train station is around 10 mins walking distance and the hotel will take you if you prefer. Train to Naples takes around 15 mins. The hotel arranged a day tour of Vesuvius and Pompeii for us before our arrival, we would highly recommend this option - minibus with a guide collects you from the hotel and the whole excursion is around 9 hours including lunch at a picturesque pizzeria in the hills and a guide for Pompeii (Vesuvius guides are free of charge and you pick one up when you arrive in your chosen language). Cost was around 100 Euros per person. Pool area is lovely and waiter service for food and drinks to your sunbed. The pool is very cold! Only real negative for us was the shower - very small cubicle for such a lovely large hotel room and modern bathroom! We would visit this hotel again as a perfect location for visiting Naples but away from the hustle and bustle! The grounds are peaceful and the views are stunning but it is within easy reach of the amenities in Portici and very close to Naples centre via train.

Very good old fashioned hotel with amazing staff. Special mention to the restaurant manager Giuliano who was outstanding with service, smile and conversation. All staff were great also breakfast staff as they still welcomed us although we were late. Would definitely visit again once the upgrade works are completed. Chef quite knowledgeable about gluten intolerant persons.

Qualified staff available and always careful ! The new top rooms are well made ! No more moquette is present but a splendid parquet, completely refurbished ! Note negative forget the boxes , they have been removed and replaced with metal layers that give a sense of disorder and in the shower there is no longer a shampoo shower layer!

We stayed one night at the Grand Hotel Serapide. Excellent service and we were deeply impressed by the view from our hotel room. The hotel is state of the art, clean, comfortable and brand new. Sergio, one man for everything was outstanding. Concierge, manger at the reception and speaks excellent English. When we are back to Naples we will book the Grand Hotel Serpide again.
