The staff were absolutely fantastic—especially Sara, who went above and beyond to make the experience even better. Another highlight was the complimentary toiletries in the room. They even provided a dental kit and “vegetable soap.” At first, I thought it might be for washing veggies, but of course, it’s not—it’s a lovely natural soap that added a nice touch to the stay. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Noordwijk, look no further"

"I have stayed at the Vesper three or four times previously, prior to my most recent stay. During these stays, I found this hotel to provide among the best experiences of any hotel where I have stayed anywhere. And I previously gave the Vesper very high praise in a review. I still think it is a very nice hotel, but I think that it has slipped slightly from my previous stays. The main issue was the heat in the room, which did not work. When I discovered that the heat did not work on my first night, the only person to talk to was the night manager, who said he had no idea how the heat worked and that he would make a note of it for the staff who would arrive the next day. In the morning, I spoke to the woman at the desk, and she said she would make sure it was fixed that day. I was gone during the day, and when I returned in the evening, the heat still did not work. So, I talked to a young man who seemed to be working both the bar and the desk, and he came to my room with a woman whom he said knew more about how the heating and A/C operated than he did. The woman tried several things and confirmed that, indeed, the heat in the room did not work. The man ended up bringing a portable heater to my room, which was weak but more or less satisfactory at heating the room. In general, the staff were polite but not friendly, and they did not seem to be as well trained or professional as I had experienced in previous visits. For example, when I checked out, the man at the desk kept calling me "Spiderman" because I was wearing a Spyder brand jacket. Why couldn't he refer to me as Mr. - - -, which would have been more professional? The Vesper tries to be a posh hotel, and in many ways it is, but the untrained/unprofessional staff and the lack of prompt response to a report of non-working heating seem sub-par for a hotel that charges such a high price for its rooms."

"I stayed here recently whilst running a school trip for 52 pupils. The hostel is great. Fantastic location to get to Rotterdam or Amsterdam. In a lovely setting right next to the sand dunes. The grounds of the hostel have a basketball court, volleyball court, table tennis tables. Inside there's air hockey and a pool table. Plenty of space to chill out. Including a bar area. The rooms are simple but well equipped with ensuite facilities. The staff were fantastic and accommodating for our students dietary needs (gluten free, veggies, halal. They served up some lovely meals, and packed lunches. Really couldn't recommend this place enough."

BUT: The villa is extremely noisy inside, i.e. one can hear neighbours speaking, children running around (so tiring after one or two hours ....), and the room even vibrates when neighbours walk with heavy steps on the floor above. So yes, the isolation is bad. A real shame, as everything else was perfect. Maybe as for q top floor apartment?"

"I stayed 2 days and nights for business. The welcome was friendly and very helpful, and the staff are a credit to the hotel. They where always happy to help and very friendly. Location is great for the beach and nature walks, and the hotel has a nice view from the restaurant/bar looking out over the beach and sea. The hotel was quiet at night as the road in front of the hotel is a dead end so there is little to no passing traffic. Food at the hotel was very good, from a continental breakfast and a modern Asian fusion menu at the restaurant at night. The room was comfortable, without being large, but well organized and clean. On reflection I had a nice stay at a very comfortable and relaxing hotel with good staff and location for the beach."

"Plus points: Location great, service excellent, dinner top, breakfast top, hygiene top. If I was better at my foot, I could just book again at the White Raaf. Unfortunately, there are also a few points. The parking space has no GPK place is largely unhardened with many pits, because the unhardened car is under the dust within an hour. The small room for 2 people is very small and can be able to enjoy a nice tour. I personally find this hotel is not really suitable for people who like me are bad on the leg and have to walk with a roller. The shower is at risk, but it's personal. 1 comment on staff, very friendly and the dial occupation very helpful, but breakfast staff does not see when someone needs a hand of help, as far as the pressure is concerned, this was done by one person."

"Stayed here 3 nights for a conference in the off season and liked the feel of the hotel - very cosy, with a fireplace lounge area and a nice restaurant. Not many staff around but the ones I interacted with were all kind and helpful. The breakfast was super nice and prepared with a lot of care, switching up cold and warm options every day. My room was on the 4th floor with two beds but not much space at all - it was good for me but for two people it would have been too small. There was also a tiny balcony with two chairs but no space to sit down on them. Otherwise the room had everything one needs - comfy bed (very quiet!), desk, tea and coffeemaker, closet space and the bathroom was also very nice. Internet worked well. This was a very nice base for me and I enjoyed my stay. It’s also in walking distance to the main street, the beach and several bus stops (30 mins to Leiden)."
