Best Hotels in Noosa Heads

I'm so glad I chose Chez Noosa for my 5 night stay. The location was perfect for walking in Noosa National Park, and to Noosa Junction, Hasting St and Sunshine Beach. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything I needed, in a peaceful setting. The bonus was the friendly and helpful Vicki! Nothing was too much trouble - a couple of very minor things in the apartment were addressed quickly, I could leave my hire bike in a secure spot, and she was a delight to speak with! Would highly recommend this accommodation and would stay again for sure! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing

I stayed at South Pacific Resort for a training conference for the month of February 2023 . It was a great place to experience both the conference facility and my apartment. I chose a standard one bedroom apartment as I was travelling solo. It was super spacious and lovely. Really well equipped for self catering with a kitchen that had everything you needed to cook and stay for such an extended time. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and their service was excellent . They have a shuttle bus that runs in to Noosa several times a day although I only used it a couple of times as I was in the conference. It be very handy if you had more free time. There is an Aldi supermarket 300 metres away and Noosa Farmers Organic Markets are literally next door every Sunday morning which are unbelievably good! The gardens and pool areas are just beautiful! 3 pools and stunning tropical gardens that make you feel like you are in Hawaii! My tip would be if you don’t have a car get to a news agency or the visitors centre in Noosa Heads underneath the surf club to purchase a bus pass as they are very reliable and I used them on numerous occasions throughout the month.The Gympie Terrace river shopping and restaurant precinct is approximately 15 minute flat walk away . Great coffee at Bakers pantry shop 300 metres away . The Thai restaurant in the grounds serves really delicious food and have a lunch special 7 days a week which I enjoyed on a few occasions. I can’t recommend South Pacific Resort Noosa enough and can’t wait to return !

What can I say, this place was an absolute gem to stay at and is truly unbeatable for the price and location! I had initially booked this place because of how well reviewed it was, and I can now (happily!) add my own to the list: it was truly a top tier experience. From the warmth and friendliness of Kate and Geoff who helped me get my bearings/settled in upon arrival, to the immaculate and spacious accommodations of the unit itself, it felt like the right choice from the moment I got in. The little touches of a lightly fragrant oil diffuser, chill music playing, and much welcome AC upon opening the door made an incredible first impression - and the unit had everything you could need for preparing your own meals/coffee/tea etc. Definitely had that WOW factor that is so hard to come by these days. In fact, I liked this place so much I stayed on an extra day (with special thanks to Kate for arranging that!) All in all, this place exceeded expectations in every way, and I look forward to returning in here the next chance I get!

The location is good, the hotel is a bit old, very close to the beach and there are plenty of places to eat downstairs. Relative to the facilities, the price is a bit high, I don’t know if it’s late for me.

THE best hostel we have stayed in so far. This hostel is amazing, the staff are so on it and the whole place is so clean and organised so well which makes your trip very comfortable. We only stayed a night whilst passing through Noosa but if we are ever back we will 100% be staying here again. A little under a mile out of town but regular buses are tan which makes it so much easier. They also have activities on every night which is so fun especially if you’re a solo traveller wanting to meet people. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We booked a one bedroom apartment for 3 adults 7 months in advance. When booking on the Accor website (as members) we asked for “a nice room (with a good view if possible) that is not on the ground floor”. When we arrived we were given apartment 127 (the lowest floor possible) in the South Wing. The apartment was very old and in obvious need of renovation. It resembled a room in a very bad motel and was not what we had seen on the Accor website. It was also inadequate for 3 adults, as we could hardly move in the apartment and the sofa bed wasn’t even made up. The entire South Wing seemed to be deserted, so we wondered why we didn’t get a higher floor if there were vacancies. Our first reaction was to run and forfeit the $1,365 we prepaid, but instead we decided to complain at the reception. A different receptionist was very helpful and he moved us to a 2 bedroom poolside apartment (202) on the second floor in the North Wing. The apartment was spacious, renovated, modern and elegant and we did enjoy our stay there. Our review would have been 5 stars, if we hadn't seen the apartment 127. But we did see it and we had to face the idea that it was going to be our home for 3 nights. The problem at this hotel is inconsistency. What if we had not been moved to a better apartment? I complained to the hotel management and got this reply: “Thank you for your post-stay feedback. I am sincerely sorry for your bad experience at our hotel. Our rooms are privately owned; therefore, it is the owners' that decide the refurbishing in each room. However, as you are an Accor member, I deeply apologize that the first room was not up to your standard. Accor members should always have priority to our nicer rooms and special requests. If you decide to stay with us again, we can assure you will be put in a nice, well-maintained room with a pleasant stay. We will make special note of your requests, and this will not happen again.”

We booked a three night Glamping holiday, paying in full, a year in advance. We were attracted by the promise of a quiet glamping experience, close to nature and wildlife and the 10pm silent curfew. We paid $329 per night for a family glamping tent. Upon arrival on the 27th December we were dismayed to see a large group of over 20 people drinking at the tent next to ours. It was 7pm and they were already drunk. They ignored the 10pm curfewed and the camp wasn't silent until after midnight. Not only were they drunk, they shouted and had really loud conversations right outside our tent. I spoke to a staff member the next morning and explained that it wasn't ideal and I hoped it wouldn't happen again. The next night was even worse. The same group were drunk and argumentative until after 1am, much shouting right outside our tent. We decided not to stay a third night as we felt our holiday was not at all what we were led to believe it would be. We could have chosen to camp anywhere and take our chances at a regular camping ground, but we chose this experience for the serenity they promise. When we checked out early we explained the situation again to the staff (morning of the 29th). I asked for the manager to call me and I asked politely for our third night to be refunded. I was told they would call me later in the day. They didn't. I called the next morning and was again informed they would call me back. They didn't. I have called every day for five days and I also sent an email on the 30th outlining our experience and asking for someone to contact me. Nothing. It's now the 4th of January and six days since we checked out. Not one staff member has engaged with us over what happened, nor listened to our story, nor taken any interest in speaking to us or responding in any way. We have been completely ghosted. I've never encountered such appalling customer service in my life. We visit this area twice a year and have family in Boreen Point. We'll be telling everyone we know about this extremely negative experience and how utterly disappointing our holiday was and how the management has zero interest in customer service.
