Nice Inn at a great central location. Staff fairly new but friendly. Price we paid was a bit high. On the second floor and tough to get suitcases up and down. Superior King Room was large enough but very small bathroom with no countertop to place toiletries (need to bring with you). Heater was set and they didn’t want it turned off. Had to ask for blowdryer. Daybed was very noisy springs but we didn’t use it. Quiet area. Breakfast was ok, limited selection and very slow.
Response from Property: Sorry you were disappointed in your stay…

I guess it was the description‘boutique hotel’ that made me book this place. It was our the last night of our trip and we were disappointed because ‘homely’ sums it up more accurately. Well maintained and a good breakfast but totally lacking in style and flair. A weird thing with hairdryers which are handed out on arrival. Our room was too cold for us at 68-69 and no amount of fiddling with the controls made any difference. I read another review which said there is something not quite right about this place and I agree with that.
Response from Property: Sorry you were disappointed with your stay

Lovely little B&B with charming rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The B&B is close to shops and restaurants of North Conway - you can easily walk if you're so inclined. Breakfast is great and so is the service.
Response from Property: Thank you - hope you visit again!

One night stay, clean and pleasant accommodations, staff kind and helpful, except for the gentleman handling the desk on Sunday morning.. he was abrupt with my wife as she announced our arrival for our 8:15a breakfast reservation, at 8:12a, asserting we should go to the parlor and wait to be called, more his tone and body language that was surprising .. breakfast waitperson kindly said she understood but that was just his general demeanor … breakfast was well prepared and enjoyable, though meager in portion and selection … a final note, apparently someone in the kitchen created a problem that set off the fire alarm just before 6:30a… no staff were present to assist, guide, or aid hotel guests… soo, no one was afforded any chance to sleep beyond that event … management did not even acknowledge the event as the guests began to circulate later in the morning …. maybe it is unrealistic, but I think it would have been a courtesy to provide coffee and perhaps a selection of pastry to the guests rousted from their slumber by the kitchen generated alarm/event … the Cranmore is a nicely appointed and maintained old inn, but overall, the amenities are somewhat sparse, management interaction with guests leaves space for considerable improvement …. hotel staff, however, were most kind and pleasing to deal with … overall, relative to the $300+ nightly rate for our stay, near a premium rate, I believe, I have to rate the Cranmore Inn as very average… not worth the rates … spend your dollars and nights elsewhere
Response from Property: Sorry you were disappointed in your stay especially since our experience of the conversations and events don't match yours.

I really think this Inn has character and charm. It is run by lovely , friendly people, however, our experience was not very comfortable. Let me also say the place was very clean. First, there are not many plugs to accommodate devices that most people travel with these days. Secondly, the bed was very hard a not comfortable. My daughter and I left after our second day because we had difficulty sleeping and backaches. Third, no Ice machine available, the staff was willing to provide ice but if we arrived later than 8pm , there was no one there to provide ice. We drank warm soda. Also our remote for the TV did not work some of the time even though they were gracious enough to replace the batteries. Now, as I mentioned great staff and delicious breakfast but I do not think we will stay again . We are not very fussy and we are sorry to have to say this. Please give them a try and we certainly hope you have a better experience.

Hotel is quaint and cosy rather than Boutique. Room was perfectly warm. Slept very well in huge bed. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared and served, rather than self service. Had warm welcome from Dawn after 3pm, reception opened at 3. Great location for the railway. Some of the local restaurants are closed mid week, but we had great meal at Deacon Street. Hotel is a little bit quirky and in our opinion there is nothing ‘off’ about it at all. Price seemed fair to us for location and peak season in New England.
Response from Property: Thank you!

Very comfortable Inn with private parking at walking distance from the center and Scenic Railroad (for which we came to N.Conway). Good size room (third floor, no elevator) with Kingsize bed. Bathroom with large shower. Nice duvet and fluffy pillows. Quiet and accurate AC. Bed made daily, not much more cleaning. Good breakfast although limited (no yogurt), fresh banana, but other fruits and juices all canned. Very well maintained building, everything looked freshly painted. Very good restaurant recommendations from owners. Very pleasant (hands on) owners and staff.

We came at 14:30. No one in reception, just a note "we will return at 15:00" then issue with key that doesnt open the door.. shower super small. In breakfest i asked for eggs with bacon and sousage.. the answer was "choose bacon or sausage"..they call themselve boutique hotel.. price above 300$. With this approach you will not go far... i strongy advice to avoid this place

Well, it's a mixed bag, as they say. We came in 30 mins. early, and a man was on the porch tapping on a laptop, totally ignoring the four of us. By his inaction we assumed he was a guest, and so we left. Turns out he was the proprietor, who "dissed" us previously. We checked in our rooms which were both very tiny. with many minor defects. The door stuck badly on the bottom, the heater strip in the bath was very rusty, and the toilet was the smallest I'd ever seen. This place is exorbitantly priced, yet serves canned fruit for breakfast. Coffee was 2 out of 10, immatation syrup served on waffles. One plus, it was clean.

Quick overnight getaway and it was perfect. From the moment I walked through the door until we left we were treated like friends. A tour was given upon check in so you know all they have to offer and how to take advantage of it. What a beautiful location within walking distance of so much. Will definitely be back again on the future! Thank you for your genuine kindness to your guests.,

On a recent trip to North Conway, we were forced to leave the accomodations we booked because we had discovered a mold problem in the room we were given. At the last minute we were scrambling to find an available booking for 2 nights during the busy summer season, when the Cranmore Inn rescued us by offering us a King Room accomodation. We were greeted pleasantly upon arrival, and were given a tour of the facility which is housed in a large old building slightly away from the bustling main road through town. The cranmore has several common areas decorated in a classic, vintage style. They offer afternoon snacks which we were too busy to enjoy, and a generous morning breakfast (again, our schedule didn't permit us to avail ourselves of that offering. The inn also had a large patio in the back with several seating areas, as well as a pool. We found our room to be beautiful, spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable. A sliding door led to a small balcony with two chairs. For those traveling during colder months, there was also a gas fireplace. One corner of the room was devoted to a daybed and TV mounted on the wall. My only minor complaint was that the AC unit was quite loud and prevented a fully peaceful night of sleep. If you can do without the AC, you would find that the inn was very quiet and conducive to peaceful rest. We are grateful to the Cranmore for providing us such lovely accomodations at the last minute and would recommend them highly.

This is a lovely hotel within walking distance to town. Chris made us feel very welcome and the staff was attentive. We went to North Conway for our daughter’s birthday and had a great time. There was no refrigerator in the room, which was a bummer when you are paying $300 per night, but we were able to use a communal one to store her cake. We reserved the room with the jacuzzi tub and thoroughly enjoyed it! We also had the pool to ourselves two days in a row! Unfortunately the air conditioner broke overnight but the hosts called a contractor who got it fixed in a few hours. This hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable and well run by friendly proprietors. We would be happy to stay again.
Response from Property: Many thanks! Hope you visit again.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Cranmore. Eddie and Christopher were welcoming hosts, the room was comfortable, breakfast delicious. We took advantage of using the hot tub and the fire pit was lit one evening. It's an easy 3-minute walk into town where there are restaurants and many shops yet the inn is on a quiet street. We'd stay there again.

I highly recommend the Cranmore Inn. The location is perfect - short walking distance to main strip with stores and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent. It was cooked to order and offered many choices. My son really liked the blueberry pancakes and I liked the coffee. We had a family room with plenty of space and privacy for a family with teenagers. The beds were comfortable. Parking is plentiful. Perfect for families with younger or older children.
Response from Property: Thank you! Look forward to seeing you again!
