Sonesta Simply Suites Pittsburgh Airport

Very nice little hotel. Clean, decent gym, and affordable. Lots of kitchen gadgets available if you plan on cooking your own meals. Very close to a variety of stores and the airport. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

Very nice stay with biz trip

Cozy place, great basic kitchen to make a meal, heat up food and lots of food places in the area. All of the elevators in the property were out of order for the duration of my stay

I did have a room key to get in and out of my room had to get the front desk to keep opening my room door every time I left the room and no remote control for the television

Avoid if you can. When we got there the reception area smelled so much like food and cigarettes. Then after being charged we were told that the elevator wasn’t working and that we were on the second floor, when we said that it wouldn’t work for us because of my disability, the receptionist said but is only one floor diminishing the fact that I can’t do stairs at all and that was one of the reasons we book a place with elevator. The after calling her manager she put us in a room on the first floor, which also smelled like some has been smoking there minutes before. The room looked ready but it was as if nobody had cleaned after a while. All the surfaces were dusty and the toilet had ring of grime. The cherry on top was the next morning when at 5:30 am they kept closing the cleaning room door across the hall. It felt like they had no respect for their guests. I would not recommend this place.

Front desk staff (dayshift) were friendly. Rooms were disappointing, outdated and musty smell. Kitchen area and appliances needed attention. coffee maker was unusable from built up grinds and dust. Parking was sufficient and closeness to Pittsburgh airport were only positives.
