Best Hotels in North Goa

I believe that there were a few people who made the experience even better. I'd like to mention some specific people from the hotel staff such as yogita, sushmita, kalpesh and suraj. They genueinely helped us and I believe are the loveliest people I met. I'd love to stay at the hotel again and meet them. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

It was my husband’s birthday and I selected waterfront and terrace bar, I am glad I selected this place it was so great. People were so helping and polite and order came on time. The food was so delicious I can’t imagine a better place than this in goa with everything from behaviour, food and ambiance was amazing and upto the mark. and special shout out to Jaidev he was great in helping us order the best food and made our day. Taj Cidade Heritage, Goa , let me first give you a big round of applause for making mine and my little one's stay over at your property memorable for the rest of our days. Before it withers away from my mind, let me take the names who left deep impression in our mind space and time during our stay. First , Goutam and Steafy from the J Wellness Circle at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, Goa for truly saving me from a very bad haircut I had before check-in into the property, my heartfelt thanks and best wishes to them, they ***aged to take some time out from their busy schedule(As I could not confirm earlier) and fix my hair, thanks a ton again. During check-in Saina made my Kid's day by gifting her, her favourites toy and candies, and the welcome Kokum drink with the necklace of seashells filled us in with Goan sea flavour. Well now talk to about the room, upon my request I was given a sea view room, and although the balcony was a little cramped, the extraordinary view made that minuscule bit of complain go away in moments. My package was all inclusive of meals and happy hours. Sanjivji, Gaurav, Monalisa, Rajaramji, Sanjit, Sumit, Shivam was there in the Laranza restaurant during morning, noon and night to see that both of us are famished and satisfied with the food being served. They asked for our comments and suggestions each day on how to improve the menu or service. All I would say, that they almost have everything to make a child smile even when she is thoroughly sad while leaving the property. They surprised us with a see you soon platter of Cake while we were having our last breakfast in the property. Well in the meanwhile within two short days we tried to explore every bit of the entertainment that this great property had to offer us. My daughter had a wonderful time at the club Saude with Anushka maam (very skillful, I myself was intrigued in her craft making processes) , making crafts and drawings, having fun and making friends. And she also attended the kids cookery class and first time served me food all prepared by her, she loved wearing the chef's hat and apron, and was all gaga after receiving the Certificate from her mentor Chef Vidya in the Alfama restaurant. Well, Days started with strolling through the harbour and ended with plunging deep into the blue waters of the well maintained pool and making loads of friends. I only could not really understand the concept of happy hours, it was a bit confusing as I was told previously that it would take place in Traverna but then I was guided to the pool side bar. And this time i missed the heritage tour of the property, being an architect myself, I was keen on taking the tour but there is always a next time. Our beloved veteran architect Charles Correa this time also treated me to another architectural marvel of his. To the entire team of Taj Cidade Heritage, Goa, Kudos to your effort for making my kid delighted all the way and myself contended. Shall see you again for sure. P.S. ***geshji from

Perfect location. Close to Panjim city, restaurants and ******s. Hotel is very nice. Great breakfast buffet and nice pool and gym. Staff are very professional but need to mention the great service provided by front office staff who works the night shift. Deevanshu might be his name. Appreciate the high level of service and assistance he provided.

The latest addition to Taj properties in Goa is Taj Convention centre & Resort. A really very beautiful Hotel on a hill top looking towards the sea. A view from the Hotel is breathtaking. Beautifully done rooms, spacious Banquets, conference rooms & a cinema house for 30 people.”, my congratulations to the Owners & Archietect team for giving Goa a wonderful place for each & every type of events, the plus point is IHL Selections Cidade de Goa( where I have been staying for the last 25 years) for Beach & Garden events. The hidden Gem in this treasure is BLD the all day Coffee shop, Oh my God so spacious, so beautiful, it was love at first sight. Divided into different sections of cuisines with live kitchens serving varieties of food at very reasonable prices. Each & every dish was so tasty & perfect may be from Chat counter, Italian food, salad counter, Chinese dishes, sushi counter, Indian food, Deserts, oh my mouth has already full of water. Cheff Bhasker & his team are doing a great job, the Taste, quality, presentation & all are one above another you cannot find a little short coming, the food is sumptuous & more than value for money. In my life I have not tasted food Better than here. According to me this is the best food to be served in any Hotel in India or abroad. My best wishes to Cheff Bhaskar & his team for doing such a wonderful work & wish them all the best for future. NB: you need at least 4-5 days stay to enjoy the complete journey of this food Mela. The hotel is very clean, the staff are attentive and polite. The gym is very small and has few equipment. Excellent location. However, the daily rate is too high for what the hotel offers. This is probably because it is a tourist area. I asked for a room with a view of the beach and they gave me a room on the first floor where you couldn't see anything.

Overall a Good experience , friendly and accomodating staff to name a few Ms. Sweety , Mr. Sangramjit (in the restraunt) , Mr. Dharamraj (bell boy) and their impeccable service - quite friendly and helpful staffs make it a kid friendly Hotel too. All the staffs were always ready to help and were available from morning until mid night. The breakfast spread was quite good and delicious - turned to be a Happy Meal with the smiling staffs ready to serve. A must recommended Hotel for a comfortable Stay.

A medium-sized hotel located about 2~3km from Old Goa. The room was spacious and clean, and the service of the hotel staff was good. However, it was very inconvenient that there were no public transportation stops and large-scale road construction work underway between the hotel and Old Goa. The hotel provided a vehicle to Panjim city center, but had to use an expensive taxi when returing. The notorious Goa taxi Mafia's expensive rip-off charge has havled the pleasure of the trip. Hotel's breakfast was disappointing. I only liked Lavazza coffee and watermelon juice. Hotel should pay more attention to the breakfast menu.

We stayed at The Fern Residency for 4 nights in September 2023.It was a worthwhile experience. Location also very close to the Miramar riverside promenade. Hotel is just 6 minutes from the beach. Our special thanks to Ms Varsha and Mr Kumar at the reception for taking care of the check in via phone as we were arriving late. All formalities were done prior to reaching so we didn't have to wait. Very cordial staff behaviour and they were very helpful. The hotel architecture is very vintage and rooms are furnished with age old teak wood furniture and spanish stone tiles washroom amenities though are very up-to-date and good functioning.Typical Portuguese decor. A haven for culture loving people. Special thanks to Mr Ravi and the restaurant staff for providing very tasty yet super quality food.
