Haven Waters Motel & Apartments

Our family road trip took us through this charming local town. It's rare to find a motel with such excellent hygiene; it's clearly run by a husband and wife team, and they've put a lot of effort into it. It was incredibly clean, even cleaner than the five-star hotels we stayed in in Sydney. I highly recommend stopping here for a day or two if you're on a road trip along the coast. They offer free barbecues; you just need to buy your own ingredients. The swimming pool is also very clean, with a perfect water temperature. Taking a stroll in the pool in the morning is incredibly relaxing. You can also walk to the beach. It's a very quiet and welcoming little town, and convenient to get around, provided you're on a road trip. There are cafes, breakfast shops, and supermarkets nearby. You can see large birds everywhere, truly a close encounter with nature. We even saw manta rays and dolphins. There are no photos of the rooms, but the actual rooms are exactly as pictured in the motel's photos—cleanliness is truly exceptional.

As a transit hotel on the way from Sydney to Gold Coast, the town where the hotel is located is clean and tidy. The old lady at the front desk was also very polite. She told us that we could have dinner at the club next door and get a discount with the hotel room card. The dinner in the club was not bad, especially the garlic bread. The facilities in the hotel are local Australian facilities, but they are very clean and worth recommending!
