Quest Ipswich

I stayed at Quest Ipswich for just over a week in an entry level studio apartment. I had previously stayed at Quest Palmerston North, NZ and was really spoilt there, so the focus of my review will be to compare the 2 properties. At both Quest properties, the staff is amazing and helpful, seeming to go out of their way to solve any issues. Upon arrival I was surprised to see an adjoining room door (which I usually try to avoid). I was told that all the entry level studios have this. While sleeping my first night, there was a big spill of light coming under this door and I became concerned about possible sound from my neighbor as I was going to be doing some day sleeping. Hotel staff said they had a foam piece that they put and it should have been there, so they quickly installed it. The entry door to my room also had quite a gap at the bottom and I did easily hear hall noise, so the addition of a door bottom sweep (as seen at other hotels) would be nice. My room and the entire property was spotless and in great shape. When comparing the features between Quest Palmerston North and Quest - Ipswich, these are the features at Palmerston that would be easy upgrades that I think would be worthy of this price point. ADD these missing features: - Coffee maker (Palmerston has a Nespresso with free pods) - Shower soap/shampoo dispensers (as opposed to the wasteful small bottles) - Pivoting TV wall mount. When eating dinner at the desk, the TV cannot be swung to view it properly. - USB charging ports built in to at least the electrical plate by the desk - Tissue / Kleenex in dispenser - Paper pad and pen The only place to eat dinner in the room is at the desk. The desk chair is hard wood with no adjustment possible. When working at my computer for extended periods, my back was feeling the lack of comfort. There is another soft chair near the windows, but it wasn't suitable. Suggest to replace the hard chair at the desk with a proper adjustable office chair, or at least make one available on offer. What did Quest Ipswich have that Quest Palmerston N. did not? + Room SAFE (quite large) + Many streaming services built into the TV
