North Beach Resort & Villas

Spent over 30 minutes searching for parking to check in. We were assigned a “luxury villa”, it was not luxurious at all! Living room furniture was badly stained, even had holes in fabric on couch and kitchen chairs. TV in living room was so bad you could hardly read what was on the tv. The bathroom ceiling tiles had holes in it, red sticky substance on the floor, hair in the bath, and grease on the wall. Bedroom carpet was very matted and crunchy. We had to call 3 times for extra bedding (there was none). We also had to call multiple times for more toilet paper, they kept “forgetting” (stayed for 3 days and had a roll and a half to last a family of 4). One night there was construction above our room and we had to call multiple times due to loud pounding until 10PM. Waited 45 minutes for the shuttle to take us to pool. There was construction everywhere at the pool, couldn’t use the restrooms. Indoor pool reeked of sewage and the pool water was beyond murky.

Property was run down and needed updates. Had to move rooms. Also construction being done and not disclosed. It was disruptive to our stay

Pool area was great. Resort is doing renovations and half of the pool was unusable and no restrooms were available except to go to the third floor. Our room was nice but noticed the bathroom wasn’t completely clean( toothpaste left on counter) but housekeeping did bring towels daily. There was a major leak under the sink, once reported it was repaired.

We only stayed for one night in the Jasmine Tower, but the kids loved the pool amenities and beach area. If you have kids, I highly recommend staying in the tower as you are near the pool and will not need to take the shuttle. The condo was spacious and met our needs. My only feedback is that the sofa bed was broken and the mattress in need of replacement. There are no USB ports for charging, so bring your own.

The resort is beautiful! I loved being right on the beach, and all the pools being heated was a huge plus. Unfortunately, the check-in process was extremely frustrating, especially considering the cost of the stay. Early check-in isn’t allowed before 4 PM, and even after arriving early and waiting for hours, our two-bedroom villa still wasn’t ready. That really took away from the day.

The property was amazing. Clean family friendly environment. Great experience.

Everything was great. They need to upgrade the TVs in the rooms to smart TVs.

As always the rooms was spotless, staff worked with me to accommodate my request to move to the new room the day before my reservation since I was already there and decided to stay another day. This is one of my favorite resorts in the area, and had recommended to family and friends when they want it to visit North Myrtle Beach.

This was a clean and wonderful experience. Dtaff eas friendly amenities were great as well.
