This place is SO cute and has SO much potential i was shown this pub by my sister Natasha Carter who works there, I loved the look both inside and out proper country village feel, however a play area outside would be lovely to help families feel more at ease and to make other diners who dont have children happier as they'll be more content, after all children can and do get noisy and annoying when they are bored. I disliked the fact that the carpark is NOT onsite and it's up a hill adjacent (easily miss if you don't know the area) we had to walk in in the pouring rain! The menu is a tad over priced for what it is, £1 or 2 cheaper on each meal and kids meals cheaper would of made my review a more positive one. However, staff were all lovely and VERY helpful and accommodating, I asked for chips with my lamb instead of the other potatoes option and they were happy to switch, several other adjustments were happy to be made (I know how annoying it can be). Everything I ate tasted lovely and the sweet potato fries me and my sister shared were BEAUTIFULLY cooked! Overall a nice experience, I will return but maybe without the children as it was so noisy(small inside area made their voices super loud) and it made it too expensive with the kids meals. But I would recommend to give it a go for passers by or anyone local!
