Very nice Motel 6. Best in the Midwest. Nice pool and hot tub. Friendly staff with quick service.

My room was clean and relatively spacious. The staff at the desk were courteous Everything worked in my room. In general, those things were fine. But there were some unusual things. Biggest, was the hotel fire alarm went off at 5:00 a.m. Not a fire, but a significant inconvenience. No harm came to anyone, but guests all cleared out of our rooms. A few guests waited outside in the 35 degree temps. Not an emergency, thank goodness. Still, it took about 20 minutes to get someone who knew how to shut the alarm off. Training error on management, in my opinion. Hot tub. Warm-ish one night, lukewarm the next. Too cold to enjoy. Room itself--I agree with one reviewer's observations that there aren't enough outlets. I had to unplug their clock radio to have an outlet to charge my phone on on the night stand. Only one lamp on one of the night stands, nothing on my side of the bed. Also, possibly the smallest, least comfortable pillows of any hotel I've ever stayed at. I routinely bring my own pillow from home. If I had not done so, would not have been able to sleep with the ones on the bed. I can't say I'd never stay there again, as the location is convenient in the small town where my family is located, but I will have to keep my expectations low.

Dirty floors, stuff falling off of walls. Tiny tv, horrible wifi in the room. No drinks allowed in pool area. I wanted to just sit and have a drink watching my kids in the pool and they wouldnt allow any drinks in the pool area. Ive never been to a pool where i couldnt take a couple cans of high noond in and just relax.What kind of relaxing can you do just sitting there? I womt stay there again.

The beds were not comfortable. Numerous unsupervisored kids in the pool area. Drunk people splattered all over the lobby and then rolling down the stairs. Vehicle was almost hit in the parking lot

We thought the staff were very nice. Fresh coffee in the morning was appreciated. TV options were poor. Low cost of the hotel invited louder clientele. Overall, reasonable value for the price.

We booked at this property based on the review of "wonderful". It is a far cry from wonderful - the room was not clean by any standard, there were stains on the rug, and I would not even go near the recliner that was in the room as it was filthy.

The hotel was great for a family overnight stay. Some updates could be made but overall, very enjoyable and the staff was friendly. Some things I expected such as shampoo in the room and towels in the pool area weren't in place but they may have been available. (I didn't ask.) Pool and hot tub were a great addition! I'd stay here again in the future.

We liked the room, but the last two times we went there, the fire alarm went off.

Just basic for what we needed. No breakfast and very few amenities. Older facility not well kept. Beautiful area
