Another night away and we find ourselves in this excellent hotel in Duke street, Norwich. This is our goto hotel when in Norwich and is now our 7th visit here and as usual never disappoints. We always take a Premier Plus room and as usual it’s excellent. The room is on the 4th floor and is very quiet, the bed is excellent, the (over the bath) shower fabulous (wish they would do more rooms with shower only). Room has a very useful Fridge and a decent Coffee Machine. The bed is super comfortable. This one however doesn’t have Air Con but that’s not a massive problem What is a problem however is that there is only 1 usb charging socket in the room, these days that is unacceptable and wouldn’t take much to rectify. We didn’t eat in the hotel, £10.99 and above is no longer good value and neither is £15.00 for early check-in The beauty of this hotel is the location, it’s a 5/10 min walk to town and 20ish minute walk to the Theatre Royal. Like all Premier Inns, the price can fluctuate a fair bit but still represents good value especially in a town with not many choices. This hotel is great, will always be our first choice and we will be back very soon
