Tranquil Chalet - Nottely Riverfront, Starlink w/ Roku TV, Easy River Access

Ready to step right in and catch a nap. Supplies like soap / dish washer and laundry detergent was on hand. All essentials in the kitchen were provided. ThanksThe road getting from the black top to the cabins --- was sporty and fun. The area was secluded but made for a great get-away

The host interaction was timely and the home and property were beautiful. However, I wish we had been better prepared for the drive in from the main road. I’m not even sure you can call that a dirt road. It was more like an ATV trail. Unfortunately, we had trouble getting out of Houston and ending up having to drive that “road” for the first time at 1:45am. So, we couldn’t see much. Which made it terribly challenging. However, even when we could, it was not an easy drive. The road is not maintained at all and has several dangerous areas, especially if anyone is trying to go in the opposite direction. It’s too bad too because the home was so nice.

We loved all of it. Sucha peaceful place to stay. The trail ride is definitely a bumpy one but its worth it.

Excellent directions from host. Well-kept, high-quality house and grounds. Quiet, country location to just sit by the river. We had a really good family time here. The mile-long drive in and out on a dirt road should be done in daylight; we used a minivan with 4" road clearance and never bottomed.

Very tranquil, and quiet. A little way to have to tote in luggage for 2 senior ladies and somewhat rough drive. But, enjoyed the tranquility of the river.

My sister and I enjoyed the water and watching how the fish trap came into view. The trek up or down the mountain was an adventure but we enjoyed it. The home was perfect for us to spend time together and give us our space. We made several day trips and some stay home ones. The neighbors were helpful and we really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent river watching experience. Very relaxing. Drive in was a little rough, but enjoyable none the less. Exciting to watch the river rise when the dam released water. You can see the difference in the photos attached.

Trout trip Great place, very clean, great owners. Trout fishing is better in the afternoon, bring waders and get in the water for best fishing experience. Overall great experience. Will book again.

The Hint Is In The Name! TRANQUIL! Such a pleasant setting and SO tranquil! Great "getaway" place but not too far from some restaurants and necessity shopping places. While we went out for dinner and driving the area, it would be a great place to bring supplies and cook (inside or on outdoor BBQ) and just remain for the duration.
