Over the top, enthusiastic hospitality without any pretension. The staff would remember our orders and wine preferences from 2 days ago and make recommendations. They arranged fantastic experiences outside the resort. When they saw us walking to our room, they would ask us if we wanted a ride. we complemented them on their vinegar and the chef gave us a list of his recommendations. Anything we needed, questioned, thought of, they made happen. The sommelier was super knowledgeable and enthusiastically shared her recommendations. The amuse bouche at dinner was incredible , and there were 3 of them. The food was delicious and inventive. After dinner there was the palate cleanser, dessert, and then surprise , 3 other mini desserts. We’ve been staying at hotels for 6 weeks and by far the hospitality and service at Villadorata surpassed any other hotel experience.

The Villa Dorata is a beautiful hotel, the grounds are exquisite and rooms are well furnished. It is perfectly located to visit Noto, Ortigia and Marzamemi (go there for lunch!). But what makes it special is the staff, the reception and concierge team are superb, organising drivers, restaurants and even parking spaces in Noto with GPS directions. The food is great as well… breakfast is an occasion. We will definitely come back here for a longer stay.

Beautiful hotel, very relaxing atmosphere and probably the best breakfast of our two week trip in Sicily and Aeolian Islands. The pool was lovely and spotlessly clean, the restaurant terrace was also beautiful and food top notch... Would love to come back again if we return to Sicily.

We had a fantastic 4 day stay at the Country House Villadorata. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by olive trees and almond trees overlooking the ocean in the distance. The pool is super private and idyllic. The only thing you hear is the sound of the wind rustling through the palm trees and the wonderful fragrance of the local flowers on their meticulously maintained landscaping is unforgettable. The staff is incredibly friendly and and accommodating, and the owner Cristina was ever-present and always with a smile. The “fire night” at the restaurant on Saturday is not to be missed! Overall, this has been one of the most incredible experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel and we couldn’t recommend it more!

What a beautiful Country hotel in the Mountains of Noto. Country House Villadorata is a beautiful small charming hotel with only a few rooms. The interior is very elegant and has a tasteful Italien modern interior. The staff is taking excellent care of the guests - Marta the Front Manager is arranging everything from the reservation at the best Noto restaurants to the parking place at the Noto Parking lot for the vening. The food (breakfast) is magnificint - best ingredients, every fruits and vegetables are organic and from the own garden. On our first night we had joined the fireside Dinner - the is fine dining on the next level and the service is amazing. Villadorata is among the best and most tasteful hotels we have stayed. Well done - we will be back!

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful,property using it as a base to explore Noto, Módica, and Ragusa Ibla. The manager, Maria Cristina, was marvelous and shared so much very importation information with me in order to make our visits to the surrounding villages much easier. The dinners were superb as were the breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the amuse-vouches. We enjoyed the separate Villa with a plunge pool. The service was superb and very professional.

We had an excellent stay at Country House Villadorata, this place is great! Stayed for 6 nights and used this as a base to explore the Val di Noto area. The property is beautiful being in the countryside and has great views of both the sea and Noto. Staff are super good - they were so helpful with suggestions of where to go/see and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We stayed in the Eco Suite which had a nice view of Noto and the sea. The plunge pool gets good direct sunlight in the morning until lunchtime. In the afternoon is shaded, but the main pool gets sun all day long. Breakfast is nice and sumptuous. Has fruit, yoghurt, tomato, ricotta,... and everything is super fresh from the orchard. Couldn't suggest this place more. We'll be back

We were surprised visiting Villa Dorata and would definitely recommend anyone to go. We booked the hotel for 3 nights as this was near Noto (10 minute drive), however, the food was the best we have ever had in a hotel. The breakfast that is included is amazing (and all their own produce), we did the fire dinner tasting menu at the restaurant which is definitely worth trying. Even the lunch menu is above expectations, try the pistachio pasta and wine recommendations. Taxis are limited in Noto, however, the hotel arranged a reliable service (£30 to the town centre), and they also assisted with restaurant reservations. The service was friendly and they always remembered you, it felt like they enjoyed being there too.

1 star for the staff and 4 stars for the hotel. Nice room (but unfortunately there were many ants coming in), and good breakfast. Staff is in general very cold. Especially avoid by all costs a woman by the name of Titziana. While dropping us off from the buggy car, she did not wait till we all got off and started driving. When noticing she stopped but did not even apologize and just drove off. Just crazy behavior…
