The cover photo and the actual hotel are completely different; it's a classic bait-and-switch. The entrance is hidden and hard to find. The hotel design is gloomy, and the room lighting is dim. The bright white incandescent bulb in the bathroom is even brighter than the room lights, making for a very uncomfortable stay and poor sleep. The breakfast is extremely basic with very limited options. The front desk staff also have a bad attitude. I'm blacklisting this place forever.

This hotel is centrally located in Nottingham, with convenient transportation access. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the place was clean, and they went above and beyond to help. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant and warm.

Whilst the reception area wasn’t overly impressive, and had a budget feel to it, the room was very nice. The only real negative was the sound of the air con which continued on all night even after it had been turned off (presumably the noise was coming from the overall system serving all rooms(

Breakfast was excellent, we are vegans and usually struggle at hotels. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely. Would recommend, in a good location for the arena

Stayed at Garner Hotel Nottingham and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and the location was very convenient. Friendly staff and good value for money — would stay again.

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel due to its close proximity to the city centre. Despite its central location, the hotel is very quiet. The hotel is comfortable and clean and the staff friendly. The cost of the room was exceptional value. We will definitely return in the future.
