"A wonderful place from where to start the trip to Mauritania. Confortable hostel with various choices of the room. From the gun in a shared room, to rent and bungalow. All around a beautiful garden where you can talk to other travelers. Breakfast very good self-service, with fresh bread and bricks, marbled, chocolate .... It has a restaurant that offers delicious dishes at a great price. You can book taxis for various transfers. The owner and Sebastian, a French gentleman available in the councils, are a special thanks to him and his staff. In a few days you have stayed in the heart."

"the rooms are lovely. decent beds with air conditioning, the room was very clean and quiet. location is good, adjacne to the main mosque and walking distance of the town centre its an odd setup in that serveal other tenants occupy the building - including the mexican consulate we were leaving early so breakfast was courtesy of the small resteraunt beside the entrance- breakfast was ok and coffee was excellent wifi was good and the ensuite very decent - bring your own toiletries!! rooftop terrace area offers good city panoramic views- worth a look"

The service attitude of the staff is super good. It is located on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, with a superior geographical location and very convenient transportation. There are also gyms and swimming pools available for free use. I will definitely come again for the next company team building."

"Please be aware that this hotel does NOT accept ANY credit cards for payment. ******* says they accept visa - but the notice on their front desk says they cannot accept any credit cards. Really bad situation when you find this out and don't have ready access to cash in Mauritania to pay for your stay as you were expecting to pay by visa. This hotel is centrally located, and secure, the suite room is large and bed very comfortable, however air conditioning is not sufficient for the larger size of this room. Don't stay in any suite room on the 2nd floor as it overlooks a school and we had a lot of noise from it one night. Breakfast and the food in the general is very good. A supermarket is right around the corner. The staff in general only speak French, so if you don't have your google translate ready or you will be unable to communicate. Special thanks to Drame who went out of his way to assist us. You need to keep asking daily for soap, toilet paper and things for the room as they never replace. Overall it's a good hotel for it's location and we would recommend it, but yet please be aware about the credit card situation and pay on ******* or any third party booking site in advance."

"The hotel is some distance from the main road, and the road leading to the hotel is quite challenging and bumpy. It's hard to imagine how difficult it could become during the rainy season. The hotel mainly caters to guests from China and provides three daily meals featuring local Chinese cuisine and delicacies. The menu is mostly vegetarian, with eggs and fish/beef/mutton served occasionally. The hotel is family-run with additional staff, and they are friendly, offering helpful information when asked. The only drawback is the poor internet connection."
