Holiday Inn Express & Suites DETROIT-NOVI by IHG

I saw hair left in one the towels. Besides that, the overal experience is good. I had a good night sleep.

Good breakfast

The best thing about this stay was the front desk person Ameer! He was amazing! The property was disgusting and the room was not clean. We had stains everywhere on the lounge chair, the comforter wasn't clean, the bathroom had mold and there was a dirty towel that Ameer came to get out of my room because the housekeeping was so in a rush to leave for the holiday they half cleaned the rooms. It was bad!!! The pool was nasty and had no towels, we had to walk to the front to grab some. This was a waste of $136.

Our room had ants all around the table and parking was limited but other than that we had a great stay

The Holiday Inn Express in Novi was a very decent place. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast hours were very short but the option were good. I liked that coffee was available 24/7. The workout room was nice but too warm and didn't have much for strength training. The staff was friendly. I liked the option to not have house keeping clean your room. I didn't need it and prefer the privacy. Added note: this is a review of the Holiday Inn - not ******* whom I booked through. They were a nightmare! Holiday Inn = good. ******* = bad

Said breakfast went until 0930 and when we went down at 0905 we were told they are getting ready to close it up so they will not be refilling any of the food. There was 2 biscuits and some nasty hard gravy and one veggie omelet and no cheese omelets. There was no bread for toast and only a couple weird topped bagels. The oatmeal was mildly warm at best. At 0925 she shut the doors and would not get me a napkin. The room was great and the staff behind the desk was fantastic. But the lady doing breakfast that morning obviously hates her job and people as well.
