Booked a double queen bed room for me my wife and 3 year old son due to just getting in town from a long drive from Dallas, TX. What a horrible stay for us all! As a man who takes pride in making sure my family is comfortable sanitary and surrounded by the greatest environment etc, I figured this would fulfill my standards well it didn’t.
Went into the room was freezing colder than outside! my 3 year old began forming runny nose etc.. turned the heat up to its highest point which was 78, heat did not come out warm but cold air. Didn’t notice it until I realized it was getting colder by the minute! I know sometime it can take time so I gave it an HOUR while my family had to bundle up with their coats and hats on to see if itll get warmer it did not.
I went to the front desk and told the receptionist about the situation (Olivia) she seemed to have no remorse and decided to just offer me a free breakfast thanks but I don’t need a free breakfast I need my family to be warm. I asked could we get a different room due to the heat not working she said there’s a way they could edit the temperature from their side so I believed it and went up and tried to again only to have the maintenance man come to our door smelling like a whole pack of cigarettes enters my room and opens the furnace… takes out the filter and said the filter is a little dirty (clearly the filter was brand new)… I said sir it is almost 10pm I’ve been here since 8pm all I want is to get me and my family some sleep
