Extended Stay America Select Suites - Detroit - Novi - Haggerty Road

Room was fairly priced, located close to shopping, activities and the Fwy, but sadly the room was less than clean. I believe the bedding was reused; as i found long hairswithin the room and bed. If marketing as an " Extended Stay" option there needs to be more complete amenities to complete a guests stay.

Great place to stay in the Novi area

These comments are totally related to Trip.com booking and not against Extended Stay Hotel. When I arrived at this site, Extended Stay personnel (person called AJ) at this site did not acknowledge or have the booking confirmation from Trip.com. I did call trip.com (spoke with Minu ?) , who was not able to either confirm with the hotel site (afterwards she called directly) and spoke with the front desk.... and re-book me at the rate. They did neither. I ended up booking Extended Stay myself (while in the lobby) to finish the night. Next morning, I learned the next morning that trip.com when ahead and pushed the bill through to my Visa, knowing I was booking with the site directly. After several emails, I had to 'supply detailed receipts' for my individual booking, AND, receive payment in 10-14 days. And, because I paid a higher rate, I was promised the price difference. However trip.com was providing coins for a future booking, or with check/cash in 14 days. However, now I find out that trip.com wants my ACH bank account details for direct wire transfer for this which I will not supply. Please apply this credit to my charge card. I will never book with trip.com again and will either use other third part sites or directly with the chains. Tim Dziewit

Very bad experience The property was sold out and the staff didn’t care No manager on duty and no staff after 10 pm

the staff is so kind and patient — the best best place to stay for extended periods of time. They aren’t mean or pushy at all, just pure kindness. So grateful for this restorative stay and rest!

We ended up not even staying here, there is no lobby just a stinky hallway with a desk. The check-in was the most disrespectful experience I have ever encountered. She outright told me to hurry up as she had other things to do, even though she did not have my online reservation and had no idea who I was. The smell was terrible and other guests were complaining about the poor service and dirty rooms while I was standing there. The internet misrepresents this hotel to the max, do not believe what it says!!

Staff is great , lots of smiling of all sorts oof things in the non smoking bldg lots of noise in the bldg , nothing is enforced.
