The most satisfactory one. I have experienced many hotels. I will stay here again next time. There is a hot spring inside. No need to go to the public hot spring

I booked this place because my partner and I always fit in at least one trip to a ryokan every time we go to Japan and this was said to be one of the best places in Kusatsu onsen. The rumours were true. The rooms were incredibly big and everything was very clean and well presented. The availability of English speaking staff varies, but everyone always did their best to make the stay enjoyable. Breakfast and dinner are served in private dining rooms and were generously portioned and beautifully presented. One English-speaking staff member called Mr Shinozuka went above and beyond during the dinner service and he was a big part of the reason that our stay was so enjoyable.

There was nothing great about this hotel other than the indoor bath, so if I have the chance to stay here again, I think I'll make a reservation without meals and pay in advance (online payment). *At 3pm, there was no one at the reception desk. I had to press the doorbell and wait a few minutes. *The room was different from the one I reserved. *For dinner, I was shown to a small room, and the elderly couple next door kept yelling loudly, so I consulted with the young landlady, but I had no choice but to put up with it. *The dishes were brought one by one in a hurry, but almost all of them were cold. *I wanted to eat slowly and calmly, but they even took away the food I was eating, and dinner was over in 40 minutes. *First of all, the young landlady's tone of voice, which is like a manual for a business hotel, was painful. Even though there were only five groups staying that day, I can't expect any improvements in the future.
