Reviews of Maitai Bora Bora

It was a wonderful stay. Nice room with beautiful view! The only lack is the limited breakfast selection. We stayed there for five nights, and the breakfast selections are exactly the same every day.

So cheap and the hot water works perfectly! The location wasn't bad either. It's close to the sea, and tour groups can pick you up directly, which was really convenient. I'd love to stay here again.

The hotel is ok. The staff could have been more friendly. The coral reef near bungalows is amazing

The place is located in a beautiful and calm spot with matira beach (best in bora bora) just at walking distance. The beach bungalow is amazingly cute and definitely deserve the money compared to a standard room. The coral garden in front of the hotel is beautiful and you can easily encounter some friends in the water :) Only minor complaint is that the wifi connection is terribly bad and works basically only at the reception. But maybe it is a good thing to totally disconnect for a relaxing vacation.

This was my first time in Bora Bora. I read in other people's reviews that this hotel's ocean view rooms offer the best view of the seven-colored sea, so I checked it out as soon as I arrived. It's a three-star hotel with a seven-star ocean view. The prerequisite is to inform the hotel in advance of your floor and view preferences. Luckily, I was assigned to one of the top floors for my first stay. However, my balcony had a few coconut trees slightly obstructing the 180-degree view. But it was still very good, perhaps the best in terms of location. Because it faces east-west, you can see the sunrise directly in the morning and the best colors of the sea in the afternoon. For the convenience of those from China, I've compiled a list of the best room numbers below: Best ocean view: Rooms 75, 76, 93-94-95-96 (top/third floor); Second best: Rooms 77-78, 83-84-85-86 (top/third floor); Excellent: Rooms 73-74-75-76 (second floor). As for breakfast… well, if others can eat it, so can I. The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English, so communication was no problem. I don't speak French, but I still managed to get by.

Even when it rained continuously and we couldn't go outside, they always greeted us with a smile and answered our questions sincerely whenever possible. We arrived late at night, so we thought we wouldn't get a shell lei, but we were happy to receive one on our way out. While we were waiting for the rain to stop in the lobby, they handed us a mango and asked, "Do you like mangoes? Here you go," which was a nice touch. There's a reef in front of the overwater cottages, and we were able to see lots of fish even in the rain.

We stayed in a sea view room (#71), the room was very comfortable and the view was beautiful. Great service! Highly recommended! Great value for money! Attached are the photos taken from the balcony.
