Excellent hotel. Will recommend to everybody. Their buffet spread is outstanding and the quality of food irreplaceably the best. Best service offered by any hotel so far. I will come back here again. Though the weather didn’t help us go out a lot we had a lot of fun at the hotel itself

Great place and hospitality. Enjoined the stay at Blackpool hotel for two nights. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will recommend this hotel to family and friends. Was super impressed with the Buffet options. Rooms were spacious and clean.

The hotel had several issues. Bad smell in the toilets, terrible smell from the kitchen all over the place and the food was well below average in terms of quality. On the other hand hotel staff was polite and willing to help. I am sure there are better places in the area.

Lovely hotel set amongst tea plants and farms. The dining area and lounge have floor to ceiling windows which makes everything light and airy. A plus point is no air conditioning - because the hotel is sits around 6000 ft, the climate is lovely. None of the humidity that you get lower down in Sri Lanka. Room was a good size, clean and with a balcony. The hotel also has gardens that you can sit out in if you wish (and we did) We did not use the infinity pool, but all looked clean and well kept. The location is good for the centre of Nuwara Eliya - it’s a fairly short drive down the mountain. A really nice stay!

This is our first time at the hotel and it was an excellent stay. Mr Thilina and his staff were so incredibly hospitable and friendly. Our stay at the hotel was comfortable. We loved the traditional welcome and the unique welcome drink they served. The food was so delicious and well presented. Staff were so knowledgeable of the surrounding attractions like strawberry picking farms etc. I would recommend a stay in Blackpool for anyone who is living this wonderful upcountry.

Fantastic service with friendly staff. Great food and clean rooms. Experienced management. Unique welcome ritual. Staff sang Christmas carols to entertain guests on 21st December as well. Only point of improvement we can point out is swimming pool cleanliness.

We are a family from India… Very comfortable stay…. Beautiful location… most hospitable staff.. warm welcome and such enormous rooms… nestled in a cosy place . Just that the pool is not in an ideal location … The weather was a combination of cold , sunshine and rain.. food was delicious and chefs catered to our need… kind housekeeping and front office staff as well… highly recommended… don’t miss visiting the tea estates and Gregory lake …

Great location, amazing hospitality, food and property. Must visit. Rooms are clean, views are spectacular and the chefs and all the staff takes very good care of the guests. Location of the hotel is also nearby all the famous attractions- the route to the hotel is also very scenic.
