[Location] It's not in the center, it's on the mountainside. It looks like one to two kilometers away from the city, and it's better to be quiet. In the afternoon, I felt a bit cold. The English-style manor looks quite good overall, but it is estimated to be old and the rooms are average. Although warm, it is not good. The dining experience is good, but the service charge is quite expensive. Dinner is a la carte and shows. I also sing a lot of Chinese songs ... Asked the waiter to help book a rush in the morning and packed breakfast, which was not bad.

Especially good this place is perfect. In fact, I live in a villa, there is a housekeeper, especially good, and the food I eat is also very good. I lived for two days and drink the sea food soup every day. It was delicious and the room was especially clean. It was obvious that it was an old house, but it was really clean and it was very cheap. We two people, the appetizer, the soup, the staple food, and ate 155. The service is so good, the butler is very polite and gentle. Breakfast needs to be selected the night before. The butler also asked us if we need the menu of the main building there. He can get it back in 5 minutes, but I chose to eat here because I want to drink sea food soup. I will come out and ask what is the taste, delicious, really. I really like this place, quiet and fresh. Because I had to get up early in the Horton Plain, I told the butler the first day to take breakfast. It’s a great place to take a lot of photos, but unfortunately only 9 photos.

We went there on 8 July 2022. We were the only guest in the hotel apparently. The hotel was hard to find as no proper signs guide the directions. Eventually we got there. On arrival we were told that only cash payment could be accepted, this we found rather strange as there were 2 Credit card machine present. The staff hardly spoke English though as it was becoming dark we decided to have diner in the restaurant. Please see the photo on the poor diner at the CheRiz. As said the staff hardly spoke English and by insisting and insisting we got half of what we wanted. The WIFI was not working at all until we found out that it was only working in the lobby area. After diner we went to our room and all lights were turned off in the main lobby area, so it was scary to sit down in the lobby where the Internet worked more likely than in our room. In the morning we had breakfast with some French fried and eggs. Please see photo, rather poor I would say. We were told that the owner was from New Zealand and he just left for New Zealand. On the check out we insisted to pay by CC but that was not possible the said. On top of that we could not receive a proper invoice. Only after insisting and insisting and trying, the credit card payment succeeded. Unfortunately we forgot a power bank in the room Elgin, our driver called the hotel and it was found in the room. Good news. A few hours later we had made a plan, without waisting petrol, to receive our power bank back. Therefore the hotel was called again with our recovery plan. We were told there was no power bank found at all. We were told to check our bagage better as there was no power bank in the hotel. The manager told us that she had asked the staff again and no power bank was found. So apart from trying to get cash instead of a genuine traceable credit card we were treated badly on the discovery of our power bank. Therefore for us this is not a trustworthy hotel. Avoid in all instances !

Ok: The environment is good, close to the pink post office, go down and turn right. Bad: The sheets are pilling, not one piece, all pilling. The first time I met, more than 1,300 nights, I would give this kind of thing.          I ordered two bottles of Coke at dinner, and I had more than 20 yuan in total. I chased after the money and told him that he had not finished eating it, and he came again later.         Very cold at night, a small electric heater, it doesn't work at all.

Really enjoyed this hotel and never experienced such excellent service. When you dine in the restaurant, as long as you call the waiter, you will immediately walk to your side, lean down, put one hand on your chest, and answer ”yes madam” softly to your questions. The same is true of the sales staff at the jewelry store in the hotel. It makes you feel a sense of respect.   Nuvo is full of mountains, there are small roads everywhere, and the driver ca n’t find the road, but I quickly reached the hotel using Google Maps Navigation. It is hard to imagine that such a high-end hotel will suddenly pop up in this mountain. It was cold at night, but the hotel had heaters. The rooms and facilities are very new. The large bed is very wide. It is estimated to be at least 2.2 meters. We added a small bed to the room for the triple room we booked. The price is more than 700 yuan, and the triple room also comes with three breakfasts and dinners, which is really great value.   Earlier, I saw that hotels in Lanka have stolen things, so we are very vigilant and take away valuables when going out. If there is a safe in the room, things are locked in. It is not harmful to have multiple eyes when going out. It ca n’t stand the test. If you put a bunch of valuables, it ’s hard to say that someone will be tempted, but if you do your own prevention, nothing will happen. So this time in Langka, our team of a dozen people were very safe and nothing happened.   Langka played for a few days, I was so desperate to sit in a car every day, and the scenery was just like the sights on the road, but the hotel always surprised me. The location is still easy to find. In the middle alley of two landmark hotels. It rained on the day we arrived, and it was raining and foggy the next day. The weather was very bad, but the homestay was very comforting. The boss is good, the room is beautifully arranged, Beijing people, there is no Chinese socket, hot water bottle, quilt is very warm, dinner introduces us to the nearby vegetable market to buy it, the vegetable market price is super cheap, the homestay also provides us with a free kitchen. We said that breakfast is not used to the food here, the boss in the morning also personally cook us porridge, simmer cakes, and also bring us spicy kelp as a side dish.

Booked full board but went with some doubt after reading previous reviews about the place. I'm really glad that I went there because everything was right about that place. It's a serene old bungalow that carries some history about the first prime minister of Sri Lanka. Pros are extremely friendly staff, rooms with names (2 suites and 3 standard rooms), delicious food, reasonable price, pool table, well maintained garden, a responsible manager and the vintage touch. Still thinking about cons as there were none.

Because the road to the store is small and poor, because my chartered car is difficult to drive up, I asked for a small three-wheeled road to the foot of the mountain (about 500 meters away) and also charged me the fare! We stayed here for one night when visiting Horton Plains. An ideal ideal place to stay, centrally located, with a comfortable ensuite bedroom and sitting area. We were welcomed with warm soup and opted for the Sri Lankan menu which we ate in the dining room at the cottage. They provided a great picnic breakfast/lunch for our walk the next day. We were well looked after by the charming Ramjith who has worked for Jetwing for many years and was a mine of information. A great place to stay!

What a pleasant surprise, I painted the same homestay. I regretted that the itinerary was left with too little time for Nouari Eliya. The temperature was comfortable, and I was lying on the hammock in the sun, which gave me a feeling of dying in the shine. The breakfast is very rich, and there is local special yogurt. Just after dawn in the morning, Buddhist believers sang in the town. The boss described this local custom in the room very intimately. In order not to disturb the tenants, the boss I changed the curtains to thicker ones to block the sound insulation, but I think listening to this sound, like a lullaby, actually promotes sleep.

Came with family, with wheelchair bound sister. Not accessible for disabled due to the long stair at the entrance. Rooms include keyless locks, strong WiFi, English channels, and plenty of hot water for the cold weather. Food was highlight of our stay, chef and manager deva cooked us up a superb meal, best one we had in Sri Lanka so far. But electricity went out during the night and caused the door to swing wide open by itself. A really crucial fix for guests safety. All in all the amenities could use some improvement but you can't fault the hospitality. Good stay overall.

We visited this hotel for breakfast and lunch and celebrated our daughters birthday there while our family trip to nuwaraeliya. I have contacted them two weeks before the visit and asked them whether we can celebrate our daughters birthday and take breakfast and lunch. They agreed and kept contacts by email and phone calls untill we leave the place. The owner is a northeast aunt, very warm and hospitable, chatting with us, making dumplings in the case of power outages. The next morning, for our stomach, breakfast made delicious Chinese food and almost impossible to eat in Lanka. Because the altitude is higher in the mountains and the temperature is lower, the quilt prepared by the store is still relatively thick. When it was cold at night, the store specially sent a hot air blower, and specially asked to keep the doors and windows closed and it would be warm. As expected, it was still very useful. Because we set off early in the morning, the store also prepared breakfast in advance, which was very considerate.

We went there on 8 July 2022. We were the only guest in the hotel apparently. The hotel was hard to find as no proper signs guide the directions. Eventually we got there. On arrival we were told that only cash payment could be accepted, this we found rather strange as there were 2 Credit card machine present. The staff hardly spoke English though as it was becoming dark we decided to have diner in the restaurant. Please see the photo on the poor diner at the CheRiz. As said the staff hardly spoke English and by insisting and insisting we got half of what we wanted. The WIFI was not working at all until we found out that it was only working in the lobby area. After diner we went to our room and all lights were turned off in the main lobby area, so it was scary to sit down in the lobby where the Internet worked more likely than in our room. In the morning we had breakfast with some French fried and eggs. Please see photo, rather poor I would say. We were told that the owner was from New Zealand and he just left for New Zealand. On the check out we insisted to pay by CC but that was not possible the said. On top of that we could not receive a proper invoice. Only after insisting and insisting and trying, the credit card payment succeeded. Unfortunately we forgot a power bank in the room Elgin, our driver called the hotel and it was found in the room. Good news. A few hours later we had made a plan, without waisting petrol, to receive our power bank back. Therefore the hotel was called again with our recovery plan. We were told there was no power bank found at all. We were told to check our bagage better as there was no power bank in the hotel. The manager told us that she had asked the staff again and no power bank was found. So apart from trying to get cash instead of a genuine traceable credit card we were treated badly on the discovery of our power bank. Therefore for us this is not a trustworthy hotel. Avoid in all instances !

On the first night, I stayed in the stormy weather and the temperature was very low. I had to go to the heating and electric blankets to sleep, and I couldn’t see anything outside. Fortunately, the next day, the weather was clear, the rain and the haze were lingering, and the scenery in the distance was unobstructed. Happy and happy! The hotel is a big house, for 4 rooms, you must prepare two sets of plans in advance to check the weather, breakfast is good, dinner recommended chicken BBQ package, delicious, but the appetite may not be enough. The environment is really very good. The villa is located in a small village on the hill. It is very quiet and the locals are super and kind. A minute or two from the hotel, there is a green area overlooking the entire lake, a superb view. The hotel is large, with a large yard at the back, sitting in the yard and watching the children playing and drinking coffee there, really comfortable. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, otherwise the scenery here is so good that it is worth living for a whole day. The only thing that spits out is the road to and from the hotel. It is too scary, one-way street, mountain path, no street light. Fortunately, our driver is very professional and recognizes the road.

I stayed here for 1 night with my boyfriend and we had a pleasant stay. Its location is really good. It is just a 5-min walk to the city center of Nuwara Eliya and within walking distance to Gregory Lake and Pedro’s tea plantation. The room was great and the bed was comfy. Sana who is a member of the staff who attended us was very nice and gave us good recommendations whenever we asked him. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.

Ok: The environment is good, close to the pink post office, go down and turn right. Bad: The sheets are pilling, not one piece, all pilling. The first time I met, more than 1,300 nights, I would give this kind of thing.          I ordered two bottles of Coke at dinner, and I had more than 20 yuan in total. I chased after the money and told him that he had not finished eating it, and he came again later.         Very cold at night, a small electric heater, it doesn't work at all.

We stayed here for one night when visiting Horton Plains. An ideal ideal place to stay, centrally located, with a comfortable ensuite bedroom and sitting area. We were welcomed with warm soup and opted for the Sri Lankan menu which we ate in the dining room at the cottage. They provided a great picnic breakfast/lunch for our walk the next day. We were well looked after by the charming Ramjith who has worked for Jetwing for many years and was a mine of information. A great place to stay!

Honestly this is the best hotel in the area in every aspects. Highly recommend for those who are planning to hike/worship Sri Padaya mountain. Rooms were neat, tidy, spacious and having a balcony with amazing view of the sacred mountain. Also all sufficient basic amenities there for a comfortable stay. We have faced a little uncomfortable situation due to couple of limit crossed drunken guys in bar. But it was not a fault of the hotel neither staff. Staff was super amazing and did they best to make our stay comfortable. Have to mention that Mr. Mano made our stay so remarkable. Special credit goes to Mr. Mano and the team. Foods were really delicious and proper hygienic conditions were well maintained! Gave a 5 stars specially because of the hospitality!! Cheers!!
