Designer Rockridge Retreat Near UC Berkeley

This delightful house is in one of the most walkable neighborhoods in Oakland. I lived in the neighborhood for 30 years, so I know. Every detail about the house was thought out, including the heated toilet. I rented this for family coming from Italy. My 87 yo cousin and his daughter. They loved it. The house is off College Ave, a main shopping/eating street in Oakland. Market Hall with all the food and wine shops is just blocks away. Trader Joe’s is just on the other side of the BART station. So many restaurants and coffee shops. This the best part of Oakland.

Once again, a wonderful stay at this home. The house is very comfortable, the location is fantastic, and the owners are very responsive. Would return again.

Location was great. Make sure to ask for futons, they are not ready to use. Communication was a bit slow. House was beautiful.

Fabulous property! Very nicely remodeled, furnished, and decorated, with absolutely everything we needed including well-equipped kitchen. Everything in very good shape and as shown on photos. Terrific location, very walkable and close to shops and restaurants. Loved our stay!

Perfect Stay Great location near all the restaurants, cafes, bars, and shopping on College Ave. Very clean, comfortable, and well appointed home. Friendly and responsive hosts. We’d definitely stay there again in the future.

The Goldilocks solution It was just right. Not too large. Not too small. Terrific kitchen in which to cook. Great living room for evening hang out and the location was just right for those of us who love to walk for really fresh food, well-curated books, clothing (new and vintage), records and restaurants. Couldn’t ask for more. It was just right.

Nice but Expensive The house had nice finishes and is in a good location. However, the owner lives onsite in an ADU behind the main house (which I didn't see published). For how much is charged, I want a private property not semi-private. Additionally, the bed in the primary has an old mattress where my wife and I sunk to the middle. It's a nice place just too expensive for what you get.
