Motel 6 Oakland, CA - Embarcadero

Location. Very friendly staff. Well maintained property. Quiet. Extremely quiet. Like sleeping in a hotel & completely forgetting that you are in the city of Oakland. Proper signage of parking do’s & don’t Clean room and clean towels.

Run down facility, homeless camps down the street, room had been smoked in, AC was a bit noisy, controls illegible, function questionable. Staff was helpful

Great stay and view. Room was convenient, clean and room service dropped of TP and towels daily. Did not go in the pool, there was a fishing pier and sail harbor behind the hotel. Some homeless but nice people on ocean sidewalk. Couple restraunts nearby you can walk to

Room was ok, typical Motel 6 but it was clean. View of boat harbor was nice. Lots of activity outside in the night, people taking and walking around at 3 am. Wouldn’t recommend for solo women or women with children traveling.

Room reeked of cigarette smoke. Sheets and towels were stained. Walls and floors were dirty.

I have never had this problem in a chopstick in the past this time there was a cockroach?

Tv didn’t work;no microwave and the heater was broken.Also the sheets were badly stained in one of the rooms

The Air conditioner/heater didn’t work, could see outside light between the door and the frame and under the door. There is cement /mortar on the sink. The bathroom doorframe paint is peeling, tape on the baseboard. They didn’t have any extra blankets. . I have pictures but this app won’t let me post any pictures.

Stayed one night ! The place is very run down , shifty characters around , no coffee , in room or Office … No way will I stay again !!
