Even though I made a mistake in booking the hotel,
Both on the phone and at the hotel responded politely and flexibly, which was very helpful.
Both the open-air bath and the radium bath were really good.
The seaside view from the room was also great.
I also want to use it when I come to Fukui Prefecture for a trip.

The bath is also the best! Unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy the food due to dietary restrictions. If there is a plan that allows you to adjust the amount, I would definitely like to have it next time.

A fairly old & basic budget hotel with sea view rooms at this little town called Obama. We stayed here as arranged by the tour group. Room was & facilities were old. Wi-Fi was slow at night when hotel guests were perhaps all browsing internet after dinner. Public bath area was fairly small.

すぐ隣に市立図書館、向かい側にまちの駅旭座があります。徒歩圏内にコンビニやJAスーパーもあって便利です。宿泊したのは７階のシングルルーム。ミネラルウォーター一本サービスと調光式のベッドランプはいい。だが、空調は集中制御式で風量調節のみ、デスクは簡易的なもの、テレビは小さく、冷蔵庫内の棚板がないため収納が限られるのが問題点。大浴場の内湯はジェットバス風、高さ７０センチ越えの大きな鬼瓦が設置してあるのもユニーク。人口ラジウム温泉なのに、湯の花がたくさん見えるのも珍しい。ゆったり浸かれて気分もリラックス。朝食は和食のセットメニュー。納豆とご飯、みそ汁はセルフで、おかわりは自由なのが嬉しい。鍋焼きでいただく揚げ出し豆腐が珍しい。小鉢のウニ椎茸は人気のメニュー、健康面を重視したメニューです。イラスト付きの品書きがわかりやすい。

12月青春18きっぷが余ったので家内と二人で敦賀経由で小浜に2時ごろ到着。チェックイン時間には早かったのですが宿ではすぐ部屋に入れました。すぐ散歩に出かけましたが小浜の街並みも変わってきており10年ほど前の記憶ではない町の駅や小浜食文化館で楽しめました。ただ土産物店でもカニはなくて不漁の様子、宿の夕食でも小さなカニが飾りで出てくる位でした。 １階の野天風呂は通路が外気で寒く温泉気分にはなりませんでした。ただ小浜では贅沢は言えないでしょうね。
