Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando Ocoee Reviews

Our stay at this hotel was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Our room was filled with ants on our first night; and we had to be moved to another room. That room didn't have ants; but the shower didn't function properly. There was a noise that sounded as if someone was attempting to enter the room, that occurred about three or four times per hour. It took me a couple days to find that the source was the water system. As a Lifetime Gold Member, I requested a "Late Check Out" for 1:00 pm on my last day. I fully understand that this is strictly a courtesy given by the hotel at their discretion. However, if they do not honor "Late Check Out", then they should not grant them. I was granted a 1:00p.m. check out time; but House-keeping staff began to hound me about leaving at 11:00a.m. Then, at 12:00 noon the Desk Clerk called to inform me that I needed to check out. Then proceeded to lie twice: Once by stating that he was not aware that I was granted a late check out. Then by stating that he did not know that the Housekeeping Manager had already knocked at least twice. She was speaking with him when I came downstairs to leave just moments later. I know that my approval was in the system, because I stood there as the Night Clerk entered it into the system.

I went online and booked the room on 9-12 for a stay that evening. In booking the room, I apparently typed hitmail instead of hotmail. I never received a confirmation email so I called the front desk to confirm. “Sorry sir we do not have a reservation in your name”. My wife called a short time later and was told the exact same thing. What am I supposed to think at this point? There is NO RESERVATION for us so I called another Marriott and booked a room. We get back from our trip and find out that I was charged as a no show. When i called the front desk to inquire why I was charged, I was told sorry, there is nothing we can do about it. How did they send a confirmation email to a HITMAIL account that doesn’t exist? Never went through so it should have been rejected. The worse part of this review is the fact that my wife works for the company for the last 12 years. I bet if we were one of the high dollar clients, things would have been handled differently. Shamefull.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean! The front desk staff are the only people we interacted with and they were all very nice, courteous and helpful!! The breakfast was good and included basic but popular breakfast items. I would not hesitate to stay again if I go back to the area.

We had a great vacation. The hotel was very clean and very well maintained. It is located a short distance from the Disney and Universal theme parks. Room was very clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family. When I return to Orlando, I will definitely stay at Fairfield Inn Occoe.

Went on a birthday vacation and decided to stay on the outskirts. My Stay was amazing even at check-in with General Manager Carlos. Got me into my room on time and was always pleasant. Marianne was very helpful with information about the city of Ocoee and always extending her kindness to make sure my stay was going great.

We chose to stay at this specific Hotel because of past great stays and experiences we have had at other Bonvoy portfolio properties, throughout the U.S. ( actually.. international destinations as well ). We were not disappointed. I booked 5 seperate rooms for a long weekend stay . The occasion was our son’s wedding in Winter Garden, FL. As this past weekend approached, there were a few changes to our familys room needs. ( Additional nights, changing a few room types, etc. ). I REALLY appreciate the fact that I was ALWAYS able to communicate directly with the Hotel property. The Fairfield Inn & Suites ALWAYS jumped into action to ensure they were doing everything they could. I would like to give a special shout out to Gen Manager, Carlos Gonzalez, along with Assistant General Manager, Susanna Sevilla. BOTH were “ on deck “ .. and always were available to communicate with. The entire stay ran smoothly.. and stands as a testament to great leadership and management skills at the Fairfield property in Ocoee, Florida. The property is clean.. no wait, it is immaculate. The breakfast buffet is wonderful.. the pool and spa area or spotless. And small details like easy access WIFI were much appreciated. And.. also a shout out to the entire housekeeping staff. They kept our room, spotless and clean. And to top it all off… the day we checked in…we found the housekeeping staff had made a heart sculpture out of towels on our bed. You guys are all just awesome.

It was absolutely one of the best stays I have had in a long time. Everything was clean, convenient, secure and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Lynn is a darling woman. This place is at the top of my list and I will definitely be back. Breakfast was a welcomed surprise for me offering turkey sausage and not just pork. (some people have dietary differences) There was a good variety. Thanks again for a peaceful and easy gong experience by all staff members. All the best to all to every employee.

We are family vacation for 4 days and 3 nights and We arrive on 27 february in around 10 AM, when we came we don’t expect that we will got a early check in but Marianne is really help us to give an early check in with her inisiative and her hospitality is perfectly exceptional!!! Thank you Marianne

I'm have Titanium elite status with Marriott because I stay in hotels over 200 nights per year. This might be the worst Fairfield location in the world. Terrible management, terrible staff, so-so facility. There are hundreds of better options in the Orlando area.

What an awesome place. The staff was friendly, professional, and went the extra mile. When we asked about places to eat, the young lady behind the counter, came back with a photocopy of all the local restaurants and what their specialty was, and told us that she had put this together just to help travelers to find something great to eat. The Buffet in the morning. Was plentiful with enough choices for everybody to have what they want from waffles to yogurt to orange juice and unlimited coffee. Rooms were clean housekeeping was on top of everything and it was just a pleasurable experience staying here.

Incredibly loud hotel with doors slamming late at night and early in the morning. Difficult to get a good nights sleep with heavy doors that no one gently shuts. Fellow travelers also had no consideration walking down the hallway at midnight with their voices at top volume.

Nice hotel that as all you need. Ebony is a terrific manager and sets the tone for the staff which we’re all terrific and incredibly helpful. Nice quiet are. Decent pool. Gym is not terrific but what you would expect. Rooms could have been cleaner. Good choice if you have business in the area.

Stayed here for 2 nights and my stay was perfect. I like the location on the west side of town, easy drive to retail and restaurants. They were able to check me in early, the pool/hottub area is nice and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. They had fruit, cereal, eggs, variety of breads, waffles, yogurt and juices. The room was what you would expect, small fridge and microwave. Everything worked as expected. I was very pleased overall.

The entire staff here is phenomenal. Every one is extremely polite as well as professional. A direct compliment to the general manager. Breakfast had numerous items. Will stay here again in the future.
