Hostel Have a Nice Day Hvni

I initially thought it was a capsule room, but it turned out to be bunk beds. The mattresses were thick and not floppy, but getting into bed was a bit inconvenient. The common area on the 3rd floor can be used as a small bar; I bought some Shin Ramyun and made it with hot water. There was a water dispenser and coffee maker, everything you could need. The bathrooms were very clean. The location is easy to find; there's a large "have a nice day" sign on the outside of the building. Reviews mentioned difficult check-in, but I found a staff member who asked for my name and let me check it against the name card on the bed—very convenient. I would consider staying here again.

The hotel is not far from the station and next to Odawara Castle. The staff I met were also friendly and willing to help. There are separate rooms for men and women, so I feel at ease.

The room we stayed on on the second floor was okay, suitable in size, relatively cozy, and located directly opposite Odawara Castle. But the sound insulation is really bad. Two Japanese people in the next room kept chatting late at night, as if they were talking in my room. I didn't sleep much all night, and the bathroom was a shower with plenty of water and very hot. Check-in at the front desk requires you to fill in some procedures, which is a bit cumbersome. I probably won't stay here again next time.

Good value for money. Fully self-service check-in avoids the trouble of language barrier, but there is quite a lot to fill in. Check out is before 11 o'clock, which is much easier than other ten o'clock. The location is quite good, just outside Gakushu Bridge and into Odawara Castle. Although the room is small, it is well-equipped with basic cooking utensils. Small flaws, the curtains are not light-blocking enough, not friendly to people who like to sleep in. There is a strange smell in the bathroom and I can't find the source.

The wifi connection is poor, so I want it to be improved. This is the second time, but I couldn't connect both times.

Opposite Odawara Castle Park, the location is excellent, but the sound insulation facilities need to be improved.
