Al-Odeceixe Verde

Lovely nice hotel. We were greeted with a drink of our choice and the chance to cool down on the terrace after our long walk here. The rooms were lovely and there’s a nice pool and jacuzzi on the roof. Great breakfast and very friendly service

After 4 long days walking the Fisherman's Trail, ending up here was a relief and a huge bonus. Lovely bright, modern small hotel with great service, and super healthy tasty breakfasts.

This place has earned its high rating: the room was great and the breakfast was ample and delicious. But the best thing about features of this place are the remarkable friendliness and generosity of the owner and staff. This was by far the best stay of our 12 nights on the Fishermen's Trail, and we made a point of trying to choose places that were well-rated.

Outstanding hotel - this was our last night of the Fisherman’s Trail and what a fantastic stay. This place has superb design written all over it! The bedroom was so comfortable and a model of what a modern hotel room should be like - everything so well thought out. Lovely luxury touches such as robes. The free bar was a delight and we were really impressed to be given a lunchbox to fill how we liked at breakfast as we had a long journey. Fernando is running a great little hotel - stay there!

This hotel was booked by an an agency that arranged our "Rota Vicentina" (Fisherman's Trail) hike along the coast. Odeceixe was our last stop on the trail, and the Odeceixe Verde Hotel was a delightful end to a great adventure. Our room was beautiful, it was spotless, and the staff is truly wonderful. The breakfast was especially nice, which is notable because every hotel on the trail had good a breakfast. There is a small bar and a pool on the roof of the hotel, though we did not avail ourselves of either (pretty early nights after walking 14 miles). The hotel is close to the "central square" of Odeciexe (it's not a big town), and an easy walk to most (all?) of the restaurants in town.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff, clean bedroom, amazing breakfast and free drinks (water, soda, wine and alcohol). Place is well situated close to downtown square and restaurants.

AL-Odeceixe Verde was without question the highlight of our hike along the Portuguese coast. We stayed two nights here after arriving from Sines, which gave us the chance to enjoy the circle hikes around Odeceixe at a relaxed pace. This hotel felt a level above the other (already nice) places we stayed during the journey. Our room was large, spotless, and very comfortable. The location is ideal, right in the center of town. The patio with its open bar was my personal favorite spot — I spent peaceful afternoons in the shade reading there. Breakfast was delicious, and in a wonderful touch, the staff even provide Tupperware so guests can pack lunches for their hikes. It’s such a thoughtful gesture and perfectly suited to the needs of walkers. The staff were unfailingly friendly, always checking in to see how we were doing. Altogether, this was such a memorable stay that I’m tempted to plan the same hiking route again just so I can come back here.

This is an amazing accommodation. The rooms are spacious, and I was even provided an espresso coffee machine in my room. It’s the little touches, including a bathrobe and slippers, which added to the comfort after a long day of hiking. A generous breakfast was provided, including an excellent cappuccino, fresh orange juice, and all the food you would possibly need. Fernando and his team were professional, but friendly. Wonderful hosts, with a great bar to complete the day. I appreciated the warm welcome, and very beautiful surroundings.
