Ohakune Hostels

The time period that came was all rain and snow, not the good weather for skiing, and it took 4 days to slide, and I could not see the magnificent scenery. The residence of the Chateau Hotel did not disappoint as a whole. Although there is no big five-star hardware in China, it is full of nostalgic atmosphere, and you can see the remaining British service that is not humble. The restaurant in the lobby offers a Michelin standard for dinner and is very cost effective. The food quality of the cafe attached to the hotel is slightly worse. As for the food of a Bistro opposite the hotel, it is not flattering, but you can relax with a glass of wine. The small swimming pool in the basement is only 90cm deep, which is only suitable for children to play in the winter and the water temperature is very warm. The small movie hall is good. Many hiking routes around the hotel are not difficult and the air is excellent. Insufficient place in the hotel: there is no delicious bread for breakfast, the toiletries are too simple. Only the big cans on the wall are squeezed out for the first two nights. The level of Motel must be spit. The sample for the last two nights is a local hotel brand that is slightly worthy of the hotel. Image. The hotel is just below the snow-capped mountains, and you can see the snow-capped mountains when you go out. The environment is good. The entrance to the hotel is the hiking entrance of the national park. It is very convenient to book a shuttle to the hotel to go skiing in the ski resort. The room is very warm in winter. There is a small refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee cup, a communal kitchen, and a restaurant where you can book breakfast and dinner. The only downside is that there is no hot water in the late meeting, so I can't take a shower.

The location is excellent, you can see the Tongari Lilu Snow Mountain, the surrounding environment is good, there are trails at the entrance, not far from the town center supermarket, driving is very convenient. The room is clean and has a kitchen and a spa.

Stayed 1 night with my wife, room was clean and comfortable, the view was beautiful, food and staff was perfect. Plenty of thing to do we did the walks next time mountain biking Would I go back and recommend to friends and family HELL yes I loved staying there and will be going back soon.

Coming from Danmark, entering this peaceful place at Marie and Bernie was a really good experience. So nice to hear” Hej, jeg hedder Marie og er dansk”( hello, I am Marie, from Denmark)! In quitely surroundings, the most friendly hostes, clean and luxury rooms. You felt welcome at once. A little terrace at each room and a beutifull garden, straight up to golf course. The breakfast are served in their own dining room, where Marie and Bernie cook for you. All placed just near by a lot of sport activities. Little village Okahune in 5 km with good dining posibilities. We warmly recommend this place. Vagn og Lisbeth

A group of us stayed in the chalet. It was comfortable and great for a group. A short stroll to the powderhorn for dinner. Friendly hosts. There were a couple of minor issues that they fixed straight away. Happy to recommend as a great spot to base you and your friends for an Adventure weekend in Ohakune. Winter or summer.
