Weather is bad and thank you counter staff who help us out the other mountain is open so that we could drive down there enjoy ourself ..

The lodge was fantastic with plenty of utensils for family home cooking .. room is small but clean .. they provide FOC hot tub , sauna , shared living halls and dinnIng area .. the only setback is the noise from traffic as the lodge is beside the roadside ..

We had a great stay! Front desk was friendly and helpful. The rooms and the place was clean. We arrived at the start of winter season, not too many guests so we had the place almost to ourselves. The amenities was great, they had a lot of DVDs for entertainment, and the common kitchen was clean and well maintained. We also ate at the cafe which was delicious. The location was walking distance to the groceries, the tourist information center and other eateries. Overall a great stay!

LKNZ is a very affordable and accessible accommodation during our winter trip to Mt. Ruapehu. Wish they just have a guest slippers inside. But overall, they all have necessities we need during our stay.

It's good the staff are very friendly, 🙂 I will recommend the place to my friend for later trip.
