Hotel Goulielmos

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and enjoyed the luxurious accommodations and views!!! Their in house restaurant is popular and food is excellent. The views are spectacular. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast can be served to your room for no extra charge and was delicious.

The location of the hotel is great. But most memorable was the kindness of all the staff members. We truly enjoyed the welcoming feeling from all staff members - thanks to all of you for a stay worth remembering!

We loved our stay at this hotel. The views are amazing! It's in a less crowded part of the island, which was exactly what we needed to wrap up a busy vacation. The rooms are well kept and had a lot of privacy. Everything we ate there was fresh and delicious.The staff was incredibly hospitable and helpful. We're especially grateful for Elli who helped us get out of being scammed at the port and sent a cab over to pick us up. Once we got to the hotel, she showed us places to check out on the island and booked a catamaran tour for us the next day. If we ever come back to Santorini, we will definitely be staying again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

An amazing experience all around. The staff were all lovely, friendly, and really made our experience a 10/10. The location is away from the tourist crowds and in my opinion has the best sunset views. The restaurant (Edge) is incredible, don’t skip dinner here.

We recently spent a week at this hotel and it was amazing! I’ll start with what some people would call negatives but more general observations. The Superior Caldera View rooms are small & the balcony offers little if any shade. You must order your breakfast the night before. Edge restaurant on an evening has a small menu if your stay is over 2-3 nights. Right, now the good stuff! Views are unreal, sunset is unbelievable and everything at this hotel was clean and beautifully kept. It also has a great pool area for those staying in rooms with no pool. Staff…. They make your holiday! The BEST hotel staff I have ever come across anywhere in the world! Vasili Maria Giorgios Thomas Paris Kaliroi Natalia Fotini Elli Kostas Dimitri Cleaners & pool/maintenance team. Apologies if I’ve missed anyone. You ALL made our holiday amazing and we thank you for everything!! Rooms with a private pool are a must. We upgraded and this took our holiday to the next level. (I may never be able to holiday again without one) Breakfast choice (included) and lunch menu (reasonably priced) are superb. (Cocktail & wine/beer options are also great) Edge restaurant is beautiful, the food was fantastic! We ate there on several nights but also ventured into Akrotiri on a couple of occasions and the food there was also very good if you don’t always want fine dining every night. We booked the boat tour (volcano, hot springs, island stop) via the hotel (this can be busy and the hot springs are warm at best) but definitely worth a 1/2 day out. We went to the Akrotiri ruins which was worth every penny and a day in Fira (very busy) is a must, we went via private transfer but buses are regular. I didn’t want to leave this hotel, or the staff behind! Santorini is a wonderful place but this hotel has changed my mantra of never holidaying in the same place twice…. Visited this hotel with a travel group of people from all over the states. Our stay here was a part of the extended tour after a week in Egypt, and 3 days here was precisely what was needed! This hotel is absolutely beautiful!! The Edge restaurant is literally on the edge of the property and the food selections were amazing. The Mushroom Risotto was delicious as was the Grilled Shrimp, Seafood pasta, the greens that were on the plate of the Steak entree.. Prime!!! Even the fresh juice and adult beverage selections were off the charts tasty and refreshing! The property is elegant, clean, sexy and understated. The staff like Calli made you feel like family. They were capable and not loud and intrusive. This hotel is the reason why I will visit Santorini again, and will definitely stay at this property... AND will spring for the room with the pool! Why risk having an experience that is less than optimal?! Kudos to the Goulielmos Hotel and its hotel staff family!

They couldn’t be more accommodating. Our room was spacious with a view of the ocean. We were able to choose our breakfast each morning and our other meals were exceptional. The young lady at the front desk was so helpful with ideas of things to do and assisted us with our transfers. Excellent!!

This is a great hotel on three quieter side of the island, with fantastic views. We stayed in a family room, which comfortable, if not overly spacious. The plunge pool outside was brilliant and our kids (7 & 5 years old) loved it! You order breakfast the night before and can either eat at the restaurant or have it delivered to your terrace. We chose our terrace for all four mornings of our stay and the kids ate wrapped in towels having just got out of the pool. We ate at the Edge restaurant one evening, which was delicious albeit a little pricey, and opted for one of the many restaurants in town on the other evenings. We would stay again!

This hotel was just as described by everyone else, amazing view, really friendly and efficient staff , delicious breakfast and we enjoyed the fact it was away from the crowds, would definitely recommend.
