The property is across the statelet from the mountain edge in a good location in Oia. Noone responded to messaging so I had to call to communicate. The hot tub was not visible, required 3 hours notice for it to heat up, and could only use it until 6pm. WiFi was very spotty at best. John was very pleasant and helpful with recommendations and setting up a taxi to leave.

The owner is a BULLY! First thing in the morning and he reeks of alcohol. The woman who cleans there is petrified of him. No wonder! He’s a violent man. He intimates having watched what happens in the rooms, so there must be hidden cameras. This place is unsafe for any woman to go to, even in the company of men. See all the reviews with warnings! Believe them!!

Believe the reviews that warn about the host. He is an incredibly rude and aggressive person. He’s volatile and explosive! We were frightened of him! The villa is beautiful in the outside. The photos of the rooms do not tell the story. Read all the reviews that state the terrible accommodations. We stayed in #5 which is like a hovel. The twin beds are shoved where the sitting area once was. The dresser is under the stairs, teachable only if one bends and contorts. The only closet is a cupboard with 6 hangers, a shelf and a drawer. Host shows you how to kick the bottom to close the door all the way. The “kitchen” is not a kitchen but a small hallway with a sink, an electric kettle, a hot plate and a dorm room fridge. The only outlet is near the bathroom door so if you use the kettle, you have to set it on a chair below the outlet. Then turn that off and plug in the hot plate, also set on a chair. It’s a fire hazard. There is peeling paint above the fridge from the dampness. The view from that room is of old bottles set high in crates. If you want an iron, you have to haul all your clothes to the reception area and iron in his presence. Want to use the jacuzzi? Pay €20 per Leon extra. His recommendations are strange and useless. I asked for directions to the nearest market and he directed me to a market 1/2 mile away when right across the promenade is a mini market with everything one might need. He seems to be at odds with all his neighbors. He is disrespectful tot he guests. He complains about guests to other guests and he is aggressive and antagonistic. We were afraid of him and his tirades. We looked for another place to stay after he yelled and screamed at me but there was only one night left and nowhere to go. So we barricaded the door with chairs to feel safe. I think he had a sobering moment when he realized he’d behave extremely badly, but instead of apologizing he emailed *********** and claimed I had never shown up for the booking. *********** emailed me to confirm while I was STILL ON THE PROPERTY! I think it was his way of keeping me from being able to leave a review. The only other person/employee I saw there was a woman named Elena and she seemed to cringe and shrivel up in his presence. He’s frightening. I would NEVER stay there again. Santorini is beautiful but staying with this hot head is too high a price to pay for it. We paid $400+ per night for 4 nights a feel like compete fools for having paid even a dollar to stay here. It’s a bad situation. Stay away!

Best place to be in Oia now for 7 years...

I booked this hotel via *********** as I was doing a run in Santorini On the 9/10. I had a late flight from London therefore arriving late night at the accommodation. I am a middle aged female, I travelled on my own. I emailed the accommodation a week prior to my travel with all The details of my flight and informed the owner I will be arriving late. He emailed me back to say there will be a 20euro charge . Noting I booked from the 7th and arrived 00:20 on the 8th. I agreed for the extra charge. I arrived at the hotel at 00:20 , my transfer left me at the door. I was a bit suspicious as the driver told me he phoned the hotel to inform them he will be dropping me and wanted some directions. The owner put the phone down on him. He told me seems he was asleep. The property was dark I looked for reception or some sort of entry, I could not see anyone. I phoned the owner multiple times. I managed to see reception on the first floor and went and knocked several times. I continued to call it he meantime. I was at the property for over 1 hr not understanding what to do. I was in tears as I travelled in my own and was left in the middle of the night in a place I have never been before. After more than 1hr I saw the neighbour and told her what had happened they tried calling the owner after several unanswered calls the phone was switched off. The neighbours were extremely understanding and supportive they asked me to come to their home and they looked for another accommodation for me. I was informed this is a regular thing for that property, there are many issues and the owner is extremely rude , arrogant and unprofessional. I neighbour managed to secure a hotel for the night for me and asked her son to drop me to the hotel. I was left in a vulnerable situation in an unknown place. I was very lucky to have some genuine people to help me at that time. Absolutely disgusted with this. I ended up booking another hotel and sending over £700 on accommodation on top of my original booking.

At the beginning of the pedestrian area, family house with different studios and apartments. We had the triple studio with Caldera view. It was comfortable, clean and well maintained, perfectly in line with the pictures and description. The room did not have a private balcony but the house has several terraces for the guest to enjoy the view and the famous sunset.

We booked this last minute and when we arrived the owner was quite rude about this. He stated we would have to move rooms the next day even though we had booked for 2 nights. We messaged him as directed in the morning to see when we could change rooms as we wanted to go out. He replied and said he was stressed as his cleaner didn’t show up and that the other room wouldn’t be ready until 2. We said okay and that we would wait for it to be ready. He didn’t reply. At 11.15 he knocked on our door and started yelling at us saying we were past check out time and screamed at me to get out of the room. Confused we said we were staying 2 nights and didn’t have check out. He started to become aggressive, making comments about our sexuality and making arrogant comments about how we don’t even have jobs and don’t understand his stress. We asked him why he had an issue as it was not our fault the cleaner did not come. He became very aggressive and told us to ‘get the f@$k out’ and leave his hotel. He then proceeded to tell us he knew a lot of dangerous people on the island that could hurt us. I asked him not to threaten us and he continued and said he could have tourists killed. We were very traumatised and he said he would delete camera footage and say we were never there. Upon looking through other reviews it seems to be a pattern. It has been reported to the police and to the embassy. A legal case is also being looked into. It has also been mentioned in other peoples comments that he has abused other people and even physically assaulted them. He has told us he knows a lot of people on the island and can make us disappear. He also told us that he can make rocks fall on us like an accident and that we would die. I would advise everyone not to come here if you want to feel safe. He has higher reviews on Booking as he cancels bookings to make it look like people are not there so they cannot write reviews. Very scary and horrible experience. I would not wish this on anyone. I have attached photos of other reviews as this proves a pattern of aggression and abuse to customers.
