Chantico Inn

We checked in during the evening on a weekend. Upon arrival, the front desk informed us that we had to pay an additional daily resort fee, even though our booking on Trip.com clearly showed that all taxes and fees had already been paid. Since it was already late and finding another hotel wasn’t practical, we decided to stay. The front desk did upgrade our room, which we appreciated. However, the upgraded room was very outdated and had a constant unpleasant sewage smell. The bed didn’t appear very clean, and the bathtub was broken and unusable. To make matters worse, there were quite a few small bugs in the bathroom, which was extremely unpleasant. The towels and bath towels were old and worn out as well. Another major issue was that the windows had no blackout curtains. The room became very bright early every morning, making it impossible to sleep well. We came here for intensive tennis training, so getting enough rest was important, but we were woken up far too early every day. Considering the price we paid, this hotel did not offer good value for money. There are definitely much better options available at the same price point.

This cute little spot is located in the perfect location for those looking to be near the Libby Bowl. There’s plenty of places within walking distance to eat and shop before your show. There’s a great lobby that has a seating area, perfect for relaxing a bit. There’s also second floor patio seating with a great view. The friendly staff is available when you need them, and breakfast is available early if you need something to get you started on your day.

There is NO SPA. They do NOT offer in room massages. These were the only reasons why I booked here to begin with. Very disappointed when the receptionist told me upon check in that they don’t offer these amenities. Additionally they don’t provide bottled water in the room, no in room safe, no additional pillows, no nothing. They charge a lot of money for a basic motel room. Definite hard pass.

this place was terrible. room we booked not avajlable so had to settle for room 1 with 2 queens. first off they say there’s a jacuzzi, but it’s basically a bath that won’t fit inside the small bathroom. jets don’t work in the jacuzzi. so what’s the point. the bathroom vanity countertop is cracked. there’s a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom where there was supposed to be a light fixture? to pay several hundred for the his room is a true tragedy.

Bait-and-switch. Charged over $400 for a room with 'spa bath', only to discover, AT CHECK-IN, that the bath was broken. Also, the pool and hot tub (the other two reasons I booked this hotel) were 'being cleaned' and 'might be open later', only to find the pool completely drained, with yellow CAUTION TAPE blocking access to the pool/hot tub area. Then told pool was undergoing 'last-minute repairs' (no cleaners or service people ever on-site). Was told we could 'find another place' if we wanted a refund (on a Sat evening, this was impossible), but because we USED ********** no partial refund could be given for lying about the spa-tub room. Well, at least we could watch TV with "all premium channels included". Nope! Not a single premium app was 'connected to the network', not even live TV (only discovered this after getting the dead batteries replaced in the remote). Could be a decent place with all the amenities working (AS ADVERTISED), but instead had a cheap motel feel (also greeted with half-used bottle of conditioner & the CHEAPEST soaps possible). I would really like someone to offer at least a 50% refund. Otherwise, I would advise you to steer clear of both Chantico Inn AND **********, as neither seems interested in taking responsibility for false advertising and terrible service.

This should be more advertised as a motel . Reception was closed when I arrived early and was told to come back after 3 pm Nothing special Staff Barely smiling and lacking basic hospitality. very convenient location and parking , Bed was dangerously high, old and noisy . I Won’t be back there . Sorry to say .
