We cannot recommend this business highly enough. Shane was very welcoming, friendly with a good sense of humour. He was very busy at the time in his wife's absence but still very attentive.He will go the extra mile for his customers. The electric bikes were new, very comfortable to ride and Shane ensured we each had the correct size. My own bike was the smallest I could buy and he had one that suited me perfectly. He ensured we were well familiarised and comfortable with the bikes before departure. We were provided with maps of the trail in either direction , advised of good stopping points, points of interest en route. The pickups at either end were prompt, comfortable with chatty drivers. This trip is a must do with this company for all ages! (We are in our 80s) Thanks Shane! George and Marg

Excellent stay at Twin Coast Adventures Motel. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and modern, the beds very comfortable. Tina and Shane are wonderful hosts, friendly, efficient and communicative. The team dealing with the bike shuttle were equally helpful and friendly. They have bikes for hire or can transport your own bikes if you want to shuttle one way. I was part of a small group cycling the Twin Coast Cycle Route. I thoroughly recommend staying here and would love to return.

We have never experienced the excellent level of service we received from our hosts at Twin Coast Adventures - they went far further than the extra mile. Tina, Shane and their team were friendly and helpful. When a section of the cycle track closed temporarily, they expressed their concern about the alternative route and, at no extra cost, shuttled our cyclists around the affected area (an extra trip specifically for that). When they saw our group wanted to spend time together they provided their conference room for us to do so. The rooms were newly refurbished and very comfortable. We’d definitely return there. We highly recommend Twin Coast Adventures.

Stayed two nights at Twin Coast Adventures after we had to change plans twice. Tina and Shane were so accommodating, which we really appreciated. Stayed the first night in our van as they had no space and the second in one of their lovely studios, which had everything we needed. We hired bikes from them to cycle the Coast to Coast Cycleway. Great bikes, well maintained. We also used their shuttle service from Horeke and Opua, back to Kaikohe, which proved to be an efficient and friendly service run by their daughter. We highly recommend the Motel, bike hire and shuttle services provided. The highlight of our stay was our interaction with the owners and their staff, great people!

Tina is amazing we were looked after extremely well beautiful 2 bedroom apartment fully refurbished ,quiet ,comfy bed ,electric blanket great kitchen next to new world enjoyed swim at hot pools nearby

The e-bikes were great. Very new and easy to ride. Thanks to Shane for the fantastic service - we are spreading the word. The Twin Coast trail is very diverse and we enjoyed the short trip by train on the first day. Liz Greenslade and party
