Hotel Granvia Okayama

Location is good and convenient. Room is very small, bathroom tiles has noticeable mold, shower curtain was extremely smelly. Cleanliness can certainly be improved

Family comes with 4 beds (instead of 2 as indicated in trip.com description). Room is pretty spacious, bed is a bit hard and bathroom is a bit narrow, but overall still comfortable. Location is good, walking distance to JR stations, Aeon with good varieties of food at the food court. Near to big camera, animate, donki and lots of shopping options at Aeon too. Will definitely stay here again.

Highly recommended Service: Top-notch service by the reception. Left our bags there as it was not time to check-in and by the time we came back to check-in, they were already in our room. Receptionist was really friendly and can converse in English. Location: Really strategic and was the right choice for us as it was the rainy season when we stayed. The hotel is directly connected to the JR Okayama station via a covered bridge and there is no need go under the rain (or sun) to get to our hotel. There is also a big AEON mall behind the hotel, a nice Don Quijote and Takashimaya department store across the street. The electric tramway stop is also just across the street and can get you to places like Okayama castle, Korakuen garden and food places at Omotecho shopping street. Room: Really spacious with enough room to even open 2-3 luggage bags side-by-side. Toilet is separate from bath (which I prefer) and bathtub was huge. Amenities: They provide free drinks (including few bottles of red and white wine) and great coffee/tea sachets. Bath salts, travel kits (skin care and bath) were provided as well. Price: May be on the higher side but understandable due to the points above. I would say it is reasonable. Wifi: The connectivity is just awful. It might be cause I was allocated the far corner/end room but it was really unstable and I had to use my own travel data most of the time. I find this is a really important point for the hotel to take note as overseas travellers usually have a very limited data allowance and would often need to rely on the hotel's wifi to surf the net (or do social media uploads/postings)

Excellent hotel , good service with good location . Very convenient just right next to the train station of Okayama

Conveniently link to Okayama Station, just a short walk that pass through level 2 area and link bridge to the hotel. The room is quite spacious with separate vanity and toilet area. The bed is comfortable and we rested quite well.

Seamless check-in and convenient on-site parking made for a great start to the stay. The room on Level 16 was exceptionally clean, beautifully refurbished, and thoughtfully laid out. The location is excellent, with convenience stores, dining options, and shopping all within easy reach. A fantastic stay overall — hard to fault anything about this property.
