Conveniently located, just 5 minutes walk to the bus terminal to take the bus to Naoshima/Teshima. The interior is from the Showa era, the cleanliness is fine though.

Convenient location! I got a tatami room and it was very comfortable.

The room wasn't large, but there was enough space to unfold my luggage. It's a bit far from Okayama Station, but very close to the post office where you can take the streetcar. It's also very close to the Tenmaya shopping district, perfect for shopping. I highly recommend the nearby supermarket; a bunch of Shine Muscat grapes is only 780 yen – cheap and delicious!

The lady at the front desk was very kind and helped with all my questions. That's where the positives ended. I was seriously bitten by bedbugs at this hotel. The sanitation is completely unsanitary, not just at this hotel, but all over Japan, so be careful. I stayed here for two nights. The first night there was nothing, but the second night I woke up with bites all over my body, even on my face. If I had any health issues, who would be held responsible if things had gotten worse? It's unlikely the hotel, as they didn't want to help. The fact that your room overlooks a church building won't protect you from bedbugs.

It's very close to Tianmanwu; I was just a short walk from there to see a performance.

It has a nice homey feel. The building is old, but there are no problems with the functionality of the rooms. Check-out is at 11am, so you can relax. I stayed for 10 consecutive nights for an average of 7,000 yen per night, which is rare these days. It's good value for money. I'll definitely use it again next time.

The parking was conveniently located on the first floor. I was able to park cheaply even after checking out, so I would definitely use it again.
