First let me start by complimenting the staff. Customer service was excellent and friendly. Also we were provided bottles of water whenever we needed them. Unfortunately it goes down hill from here. I booked this weekend girls trip based on staying at an Aloft in another city and was excited about our stay until we stepped foot in the door. First thing we noticed after a very hot walk with our luggage from the train station is that there is NO AC in the common areas. Temps outside are ranging from 90-110 degrees! They had a fan blowing on the hotel receptionist-if I was an employee there, I would not stay. Come to find out it hasn't been fixed in over a year! WHAT???? are you kidding me? Part of the draw to hotels is being able to hang out in the commons areas, play some games, lounge on the couches and enjoy a breakfast without sweating in it. So we had to stay in our room if we wanted to cool off between sight seeing. Second- we were very excited we could hang out in the pool since inside the hotel was not refreshing. I am no pool expert but I don't think pool water should be cloudy. I have a feeling that there is little to no maintenance done. To me, pool water should be clear and PH properly monitored and kept up. I didn't have a water testing kit but it was not inviting to swim in-very disappointing. (there was a guy picking up trash around the pool in the mornings so I guess that was something) Third- Furniture, rugs and other items in the common areas, around the pool and in the hotel room we stayed in were dirty, stained and worn. The sticker decorations in the elevators were tattered in places and just cheap looking. Fourth-hotel room itself. Sink and counter were cracked. Water pressure was barely enough to rinse shampoo from hair and the lighting was so dark in the shower you could barely see. Tile looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. Beds were comfortable enough but you really ought to provide more than one chair in a room with 2 double beds. Air conditioner worked fine but smelled a bit musty.

The room was very clean, spacious, beds and pillows comfortable with great mattress. We had a one bedroom suite on the backside of hotel. Room was quiet, no thin walls or creaky floors here. We were on 3rd floor during exceptionally hot June for 7 nights, and the air conditioning kept us cool. Kitchen comes with full size fridge, 2 burner stove, and dishwasher. The employees were friendly and helpful. This hotel is in a very convenient location to Bricktown and downtown, but not sure I’d want to walk that far. It’s not really in Bricktown, but it’s very close, less than a 5 minute drive. The water pressure was good, towels are fluffy, and they use Dove toiletries. The only complaint we have is that they don’t have their own pool, they share it with a couple of other extended stay hotels and it’s nearer to a different property. It’s not far, across the parking lot, but not convenient when you’ve got bad knees. We would definitely stay here again because of the clean, comfortable, quiet room, but not for the pool!

The valet service was excellent and a blessing in the heat. Also, everything is closeby so there is not much driving or traffic to hassele your stay. . We were missing a hairdryer but the front desk was prompt to deliver one to our room.

I was in town to help my son move to OKC. A little stressful until we met April at the front desk who helped us get settled in. April is professional, calm, very, very helpful and gave us such a great first impression of Oklahoma City. The hotel is roomy, has a relaxing lobby, bar area and is close (walking distance) to so many tourist attractions. Most every OKC resident we met was so nice and it all started with April. Thank you April! - We hope to see you next time we are in town.

I would stay here every time I come to Oklahoma City for a job if the government can reimburse it. It is ideally located a few blocks from the downtown Bricktown community. I also love the relatively quiet environment and it is in the heart of the Bricodon community. Their new decoration perfectly combines historical aesthetics with modern technology. No matter what you order, the restaurant never disappoints you, and room service. The bar is always lively and there are plenty of good cocktails to choose from. I set a standard room so there is no refrigerator and microwave inside. I also don’t like to put these in the room. If you want a refrigerator and microwave, ask in advance. The pillows are very soft, and if you want something to use for the backrest, you may have to ask for it or carry it yourself.
