Reviews of St Francis Winery

St Francis Winery is located about half an hour from Adelaide CBD and is a good place to stay when hotel prices are expensive in the CBD mid-week. It is also about half way to McLaren Vale and is a good base to explore the wineries and restaurants in the area. The hotel is on 2 levels with no lift and most rooms look out onto a green lawn area. It has a good restaurant serving reasonably priced quality food and wine. Although it used to be a winery sometime in the past, it is no longer so and from what we heard, is about to undergo a change of name. Some rooms have a jacuzzi/spa and there are also certain rooms that have a study/work table. Parking is convenient close to the rooms one is staying at.

Maybe better bring mosquito repellent spray if you want to get a peaceful night's sleep, as the location is surrounded by nature😌

I really liked their indoor swimming pool, which was amazing.

Very Friendly, location and facilities were excellent. Will definately be coming back.

Location of the hotel is great, have supermarket and restaurant nearby with walking distance. I do enjoy the stay given the price of it, it's acceptable. However, 2 light bulbs not working in the room, we let the staff know, and the staff only say: sorry, I couldn't change the light bulb, maintenance staff is working tomorrow only. I do understand that, but, maybe he could go and check if there is any room available for us to be moved to instead of just leaving the room like that.

The staff are very kind, helpful and smiling. The hotel has a beautiful environment, fresh air and a great location. The game center is very convenient and can kill time.
